Versatile Personalities?
Amen. Everyone believes they're insightfulness is superior... but in reality NOS's question is like asking people if they believe they're a safe driver It depends on the delivery. If someone can successfully explain himself/herself to my understanding, then I usually have no problem seeing his/her side. Agreeing with it is entirely different. Often I find myself looking past the person and trying to see what they've overlooked/missed. Most people rarely have all the facts when they have a problem. That's why they can't solve it. Sometimes, if they're completely off base, you just have to trash their warped point of view and rebuild from the ground up. Happens way too often at work.

07 Camry....fair review?
Toyota's Press Release: You forget that several Toyota fans were claiming that the silver surfaces on the console in the Avalon were real aluminum... nope, painted plastic. Same for Camry.

Zeta Buick called Invicta?
I would prefer Statesman or Roadmaster over Invicta. Invicta just doesn't do anything for me. It was a short run nameplate in Buick's past that holds very little emotional sentiment when I hear it. I'm not saying that to offend Invicta fans. It's just me. I'd prefer a more renowned name like Roadmaster, or a new name like Statesman for Buick's "return to glory" flagship sedan.

Chicago Auto Show: Camaro Concept
I think the Camaro is a well-designed vehicle for its intended audience. No, I personally would not buy it, but I would not deny those who like this type of vehicle from having it available. It's a necessary vehicle for GM and GM must build it to satisfy the demand. I'm very happy to see it coming to life. Let Chevrolet be Chevrolet, and it will be strong… that can be said for all of GM brands.

Cadillac BLS In Depth
I don't have a problem with the BLS. I think it's attractive and a good vehicle for Cadillac. I'd buy one over the 9-3. If Cadillac imported the BLS, I think more Americans would buy it over the current 9-3 also. Sad... but probably true. When it comes to market placement, it makes me think of Infiniti's original G20 or Acura's current TSX. Someone mentioned Volvo's S40. That too.

Suzuki & GM still have DAT, so Suzuki will continue to be considered a "Worldwide Partner" at C&G.

GM to sell 20 pct stake in Suzuki Motor for $2.33B
Uhm... Toyota is the one who bought half of GM's shares of Subaru/Fuji Heavy when GM sold not too long ago. But also, Suzuki is not a "global loser" either. Suzuki is 4th largest of the Japanese manufacturers with global sales and profits increasing significantly over the past 5 years. Check out their annual report etc...

Chryslers pile up
That quote alone made GM's MSRP adjustment worth every cent. Hopefully this is a start of GM no longer looking as consistently desperate as the media has painted in the past.

MT on GM's future RWD plans
That's funny... Lutz has already been quoted that the Buick sedan will be called "Statesman"... I wonder where they got Invicta from. PLEASE call it Statesman... Invicta causes too much controversy.

Sad thing is... you're correct. Viper is a feminine noun in French. It has nothing to do with BV being a big drama queen j/k Just coincidence.

Need help with Lucerne lease info
This is all I could find at the moment. It doesn't indicate whether the APR is for finance or Lease. Updated 3/1/06: http://gmbuypower.com/viewCurrentOffersPage.bp?zip=98008 Buick LaCrosse -------> 1.9% Or $500 Buick Lucerne ---------> 2.9% Or $0 Buick Rainier ----------> 4.9% Or $1000 Buick Rendezvous ---> 4.9% Or $1000 Buick Terraza ---------> 3.9% Or $1000 But remember, prices have been lowered so part of the discount is built into the new MSRPs. The site also allows you to sign up for incentive updates on specific vehicles. I'd recommend it if you're getting ready to buy.

Need help with Lucerne lease info
Without someone sitting down with different Financial Institutions, I don't think there's anything additional that can be said outside of the estimates given. Like anything else that's financed or leased, the monthly payment depends on the amount available for down payment. Interest rate qualifications depend heavily on the individual's credit rating.

Chinese GL8 vs Terraza
Hints that Buick NA & Buick CN are unifying: 1) Buick CN just introduced the "LaCrosse" name to the Chinese market 2) Every indication points to the Enclave selling in NA & CN 3) Buick CN has introduced the monochrome Buick tri-Shield which Buick NA introduced back in 2001. 4) Lutz stated Buick NA's Zeta Flagship will be called Statesman which is a traditional name used for Holden's large cars overseas. The Royaum could become Buick Statesman when the next generation debuts. Buick NA is striving to move further upscale. Matching Buick CN would achieve that. See the autoweek article discussing overseas sales for Cadillac. Replace Cadillac with Buick: Buick's global sales are already over 500,000. There's no reason not to unify the line-ups and sell 4 or 5 high volume vehicles globally instead of investing even more money on 8 or 10 low-to-mid volume vehicles to sell regionally.
