I agree with you. that is the only vehicle that really stand out for me in the Dodge lineup. But i definetly do think it looks good. GM needs something to fill the gap. Maybe on the zeta platform :AH-HA_wink:

So with the news of a GXP Solstice, has anyone heard of any news on the GXP G6!!!!!!!!!!

And lets not forget the fact that the rendezvous was over run with problems. I actually had my customers getting locked inside. (not just too stupid to use the latch) i mean the door latch was stuck in lock and the windows would not role down. its no wonder that GM didnt have to recall the entire vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i for one am glad to see it go. i have had more people tell me they are trading it in for a yota than i ever have before.

IMO XM is decent but not great, sirious is also just ok. what i dont understand is why it matters. i am pretty sure that someone on the fence on choosing a car to buy did not just say "oh, well that settles it. I am going to buy a GM car thanks to cheaper XM!" Seriously does it really matter that much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

not to change the subject but they did find a '73 oldsmobile that had an air bag. and they had shoulder belts back in the 60's but it cost an extra $15 to do it, so no one did.

My only point is that if GM can get traction and take off fast enough, they may not fall to second at all. Its a bit of a long shot, but if yota faulters and GM keeps on keepin on, then it could happen.

If GM is the head of all this then it sounds like we are in great position right now. To stay number one in the worldm they need to be number one in designs and concepts. think outside the box!!!!! Keep it up GM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For instance, the 07 Torrents have a completely redisgned interior from the 06 model!!!!!! looks good too!!!!!!!

i am not looking for yota to screw up so GM can be on top. i am just getting tired of the media not reporting both sides. i agree GM has problems and so does yota I just wish i could here about both sides of the story instead of hearing GMs problems and having to investage yota's thats all!!!!! it is only fair thats all i want

has anybody even riden in one? i was in it yesterday and noticed the carbon fiber trim pieces on the dash! I still think it looks great(even if it isnt real)

the problem is that the media will report the recall for trunks on their tailgate cables like it will cause the truck to fall apart. but the recall for toyota that really do cause the car to loose control has yet to be reported on!!!!!! if that is stupid and over dramatic then over dramatic am I!!!!!

I am talking about employment and the amount of their profit that actually stays in the country.

to me the answer seems simple. GM is one of the biggest companies in the world and the headquaters is our backyard. toyota on the onther hand is not that big and is not located here. the american news media sees GM as news worthy when it comes to it financial side and toyota is going to take a back seat to that. it sucks but its true.

Not that you dont matter, but that is just one opinion. so if one person thinks it kills the image but ten people see it for the first time and say, "hey, i like the looks of that car!" does it really matter if one person doesnt like it.

can someone explain to me why fleet sales are so bad. it seems like it would allow the brand to get out and be seen. people will see it and drive it and want to buy it. i have had numerous customers get put in a rental then come back and buy the same car from my dealership!!!? i just dont understand why it so bad.

cheer up !!!! take a step back for a second and just look at the car. dont look at it as if it is a chevy rebadged. look at it as if chevy never made it. it is still a sporty, goodlooking little ride for under 15k. that is exciting for the people just getting started on their own and need a dependable ride. pontiac tweaked it a little. they got rid of the tail lights anyway. just stop going on about the grave injustice that GM has done to you and just look at the damn car. it not bad. Now that I have said that, I love it. Its finally here and ready to be stocked in and as it sits there i know it is a goodlooking car that will be hard to keep on the lot.

Just saw the new G5 at COURTESY Pontiac in Lex. it looks good!!!!!!!! should have one at Adams in Richmond next week, wahoo!!!!!!
