  1. We had our from August 2005 until this past February. The only issue (besides minor adjustments) was having to replace the intake and exhaust cam sensors and the front stabilizer bar and bushings. The sensors are a common problem with the 2.4L once diagnosed and mine presented the symptoms with less than 50K on the odometer. Under $100 in parts and a 15 minute job to replace, less if you have power tools.
  2. Does anyone know the breakdown for the CTS numbers between coupe, sedan and wagon?
  3. And like everything else worth wanting, we will never see it...
  4. They changed that for MY08 in the SS and for all in MY09.
  5. And yet another vehicle that will not make it's way to this side of the ocean. If someone gets their head out of their A** and changes their mind I doubt it would come over intact and would be castrated of features and styling. Sorry for the rant.... On a side note, I think it looks fantastic. With the way the hatch wraps around into the quarter panels, I see no way to only have a single pair of rear lights. Having the clam shell design hatch really opens up the entry to the cargo space.
  6. But where does it stop... BMW 5 series / CTS or CTS /G8... beyond performance numbers and features, people look at appearance and the badges (status symbol). While the CTS is VERY nice looking and I could afford it, I would rather have the G8. Some people would choose the BMW over the CTS and some would choose the CTS over the G8. We (the consumers) should have the choice, not building the right vehicle makes the choice for the consumer. Just my .02
  7. Who in their right mind would think that a 30K G8 wagon will compete with a 40-50K CTS wagon Not all of us are willing to spend 40K for a wagon. This is the main reason that my 9-3 will probably be my LAST GM product. I have been buying GM exclusively for the last 20 years and it amazes the mindset of GM management. My wish list for what it is worth: Pontiac - affordable (notice I did not say cheap) performance vehicles: Alpha sedan, coupe, and wagon similar to the Tourana (sp?) concept Kappa or next gen based 2 seater Next gen G8 equivalent 3 platforms (unless the kappa moves to an alpha based platform), and 6 models. This fills the need for most people looking for sporty cars. Cadillac - Premium cars
  8. Or could it be that GM will not build vehicles that people want. Been there, done that, with the whole truck/SUV thing, I much prefer a nice sporty wagon for my needs. I would go out right now and buy a G8 if it came in a WAGON version. Name one sport wagon that GM makes not including the 9-3 or 9-5.
  9. This STILL needs to be brought over here as a G8 wagon. I would buy one immediately.
  10. Not sure if this has been posted or not but I found the article very interesting: Electro-Shock Therapy Article
  11. All they need is a WAGON!!!
  12. I would agree... I just picked up my 9-3 SportCombi last week. The pictures of the next gen look very nice.
  13. I want the wagon !!!!
