GM News: End Of 'Government Motors', U.S. Treasury Sells Final Shares Of GM
I always thought that Pontiac could be mostly a division for GM performance vehicles that are not otherwise available in the US. Such as when they had the GTO, and then the G8. But with Holden vehicles not being made in Australia for much longer the possibilities would be reduced. All that would really be needed to start is: a small AWD Sedan and Hatch with a 225ish H.P. turbo 4 (Sonic sized) or 275ish H.P. (Cruze sized). A Malibu sized Sedan and Coupe with a 325ish H.P. Twin Turbo V-6 and AWD. A Sedan, Coupe, Wagon and Ute with a V-8 450+ H.P similar to current Holden options (also available with a V-6 Diesel). And if they really wanted to get crazy try to collaborate with Suzuki for a Pontiac branded motorcycle just to surprise people. If they went and worked with Lotus again for engineering help and a shared Twin Turbo V-6 that would be even more awesome in my opinion.

GM ready to let Opel go for free?
Well obviously nothing will make up for killing Pontiac, I just meant maybe it would still be possible to get performance vehicles other than SS's.

GM ready to let Opel go for free?
OK, whatever. A few weeks ago it was said that HSV would expand. Then we heard that some Opels would be sold as Buicks in the US. Now we are hearing Pontiac is dead and Opel will be given away. Global brands will wind up being Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and hopefully if we are lucky they might sell some HSV models in the US to make up for killing Pontiac.

Pontiac's fate to be decided in 2010
I agree with Camino LS6 on the thought of using the names of architectures as model names. This paired with sporty models would make it appear that the platforms were disigned for Pontiac and then used by other divisions. It would make it seem that the platforms were designed to be sporty and fun to drive. I see no problem if Pontiac would be Delta (1.4 and 2.0 Turbo) Coupe and Hatch, Kappa (2.0 Turbo) Coupe and Roadster, Alpha (2.0 turbo and 3.0 V-6 Turbo) Sedan, Coupe and Wagon, and Zeta (3.0 Turbo and 3.6 Twin-Turbo) Coupe, Sedan, Wagon and Ute. It would be 11 vehicles on 4 architectures with 3 engines.

Maybe the answer was there and I just missed it but, 2.4L GM or Toyota?

Hybrid Camaro??
Maybe not the Duramax but a higher output version of the 4.5L Diesel (that will be available sometime in the near future) would be sweet.

Three new 2008 Silverado Wallpapers...
I would like to see an ad that says. The competition might look full size, but remember sometimes it's just a Toy.

GM purchases 50% of of Italian Diesel Firm
This is great news, I would like to see a diesel (Turbo V-8 OR Twin Turbo V-6) engine in the G8. If there was then I would find a way to buy it.

Exactly how much power can a s/c 3800 II...
Not sure about the transmission but the engines can handle quite a bit, with out to many mods. One of the places that offers mods (www.zzperformance.com) has turbos and intercoolers available. One of the Grand Prix's I saw on there was making over 600 hp.

2008s are PHYSICALLY here

NYIAS: Chevy Trax, Beat and Groove
All three are interesting, but I think as far as wich looks the most Chevy would be the Trax. However I myself would rather have the Beat.

This will be my next car, somehow. Now all I got to do is find a second job and start saving.

Pontiac G8/Holden Commodore Confirmed
We need this car over here as a Pontiac. Even if there is not much change in the design. Some people prefer driving a car with understated design, but lots of power. For that matter even if all they changed was the emblem in th middle of the grill, I would still want to buy it.

RACING: Pontiac GXP.R
Well at least something makes the wing on the G6 GXP look small. I only wish the production G6 could be RWD.
