  1. Some of you may have seen this elsewhere but I thought I'd share: The personal and private collection consists of 110 + Chevrolet convertibles... all years from 1912 to 1975 and Corvette convertibles from 1953 to 1975. That is a Chevy convertible from every year of manufacture EXCEPT 1939... The reason? - Chevy didn't make a convertible in '39 -- and ended its convertible line in '75!

I really have always liked the SRX, now with a great interior and and optional Sport Appearance package I'd consider one for my garage.
  3. I love the rear spoiler one of my favorite things on the sport
  4. Excellent ride, I like that version of the CTS
  5. I'd rather see Gm's directors make decisions rather than an outside investor. I'm glad he wasn't able to force that merger.
  6. I now worry that I may never again see 0% financing again. I bought my last 2 new GM cars with 0% 60 months and that was the driving force.

A friend had a new 1970 with the 454 very nice. Girlfriend had a new '75 which I thought was very decent. Chevy delear Co-worker had the '77 Monte loaded (captains chairs) all in black very nice as well. I remember the concours option but I only saw a couple actual cars. I think that option played off the Seville.
  9. That really is great to hear that kind of feedback.

I need to take some interior shots here's a couple I do have. Kinda fuzzy. the manual shifting automatic I like a lot. Push shifter to right pull back for down shifts and push up for upshifts very quick and responsive and it hold till redline.
  13. Car & Driver has developed a new phase in thier road test criteria. They will be using Virginia International Raceway or VIR. They did a big spread in the newest issue. In the future they will incorporate a lap time into overall testing. They will use this benchmark on most performance based cars. It's common performance knowledge that if you run a sub 8 minute lap a Nurburgring you've got a great performer. This is our comparable benchmarking location in the US, as defined by C&D. Now something good for GM which came out of the first tests. The Cobalt SS bested the Maxda MX-5 Honda Civic Si & the Volkswagen GTi (by 4-5 seconds per lap) which were in its price range. Now the suprise - the Cobalt SS also dispatched the Ford Mustang GT! "The Cobalt was the most settled of the three, with excellent body control through the high speed esses." and also "the Cobalt SS had the strongest and most reliable binders" "The Cobalt SS's supercharged ECOTECH engine collaborated with an excellent gearbox to charge down the straights with authority." as stated by C&D. Never in all my years have I read about a compact GM car with such high praise. Note : The mighty Z06 was bested by the $153K Ford GT to a tune of 0.4 seconds GM is really turning the corner if this keeps up.

Thanks, for the replies and welcomes. Its an auto - with a really great manual shifting capability that I find myself using quite frequently. The car has very good performance and I find it better than the Lexus on fuel economy! How bout another pic or two.........I tracked her down searching dealer inventories and this is how I first saw her. Nice looking rear
