New Challenger pics!!!!!!!!!!
Well, from what I've read IRS is a good bit heavier than a live rear axle as the Mustang has, plus by 2009 cars will have even more things that add weight to them. If you get a Camaro at 3500lbs you should be happy. The GT500 convert weighs 4000lbs, so it's possible a top-of-the-line Camaro convert could have a similar number. The GTO weighs 37xx with IRS and is a little bit bigger than a Camaro would be, but I don't see how they're going to take off 300 lbs without significantly reducing the size or adding lots of aluminum (which they won't because of cost).

Time Square
Sounds cool, you should try to check out the new Tahoe that will be there while you are waiting.

Concept - Chrysler Imperial
Ugh. It looks like a big brown brick. How much more unoriginal can you get with a concept car?

2006 Chicago Auto Show Schedule Announced
So it looks like GM has at least one introduction for Chicago. Probably a Lambda, but it could be the Silverado or Sierra.

Car & Driver tests the 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe!
I got my C&D yesterday and read the article, they certainly had a lot of good things to say about it. Two of the "lows" were poor fuel economy and "it weighs almost 3 tons." Both of those were BS because they admitted they drove it like they were drag racing and any big SUV weighs almost 3 tons. So really, the only things wrong with it were that it had the 4-speed auto still and the back seat is too small. People who need a real back seat will go for a Suburban, but the 4-speed is certainly a letdown.

2006 Detroit Auto Show: Hummer H3x
I think this is a good thing for the H3. I read in an article that a very large amount of H3 buyers are adding custom touches to their H3s (from GM accessories) so I see no reason why GM shouldn't make some custom versions from the factory. It wouldn't cost them a whole lot to add the accessories after you consider that they're making a rather large number of them, and GM can probably charge a lot for the package. An easy way to make money if you ask me.

Hyundai Sonata Breaks Into U.S. Top 10 Charts
I'm not surprised the Sonata is in the top ten in sales for cars. It's not a bad effort, though I certainly wouldn't buy one, and when you can get one for $14k plus 10yr/100k it's hard to buy a compact for the same money.

New Merc S65 AMG and Nissan URGE official shots
The Urge just looks weird. What would be the point to buy one if you could have a Solstice instead? The S65 is better than the normal S-Class, but that's nothing to be proud of, as the S500 at my local dealership looks like crap. The wheel flares are way over exaggerated and there's really nothing exciting about it. I'd take a CLS over the new S any day of the week. The interior did look nice however.

New Challenger pics!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't expect the Camaro to be 3400lbs (the C6 is 3200 and it only has two seats), but probably 3600 or less, and 500lbs is still a huge difference.

New Challenger pics!!!!!!!!!!
I just got my C&D today and I didn't read the whole article but looked at some of the specs. The Challenger is bigger than a Charger or 300, at nearly 198 inches long, and weighs 4100 lbs :o I think the weight and large size will turn off some enthusiasts right away.

Edmunds Full Test: 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Give me a break  If GM had produced this interior Edmunds would be ripping them a new one. It will definetly sell 46k units, but that's pretty pathetic -- less than 4k per month is next to nothing for an under-$25k SUV.

Toyota Launches Fully Redesigned bB
The interior is better than the current one, but there isn't a decent line on the exterior.

GM November Sales
Yes, all Cadillacs have some fleet sales, but the Deville/DTS has a much higher percentage of sales to fleets. Through the first 6 months of the year, 32.7% of Deville sales went to fleets, while only 6.1% of STS sales went to fleets.

GM November Sales
But how many of them were to fleets? I'm guessing a lot of rental companies are looking to replace their old Devilles and TCs with the new DTS.

GXP Solstice 260HP
For pricing it probably depends on what options it has standard. If it's just a base Solstice with the better engine, then it'll probably be close to $25k like Josh said, but if they put other goodies on it too it will probably be more like $27-28k. The Sky Red Line will probably be about $29-30k I would guess since it will only have a couple options. The Solstice GXP could be different and have lots of options available.

Choppin' Competition 13 - Pontiac Solstice Concept
We're going to have to extend the deadline because of lack of entires.

HHR Spring Edition
How much did the Chevy dealer end up paying him to buy the HHR and give them the Land Rover? :P

Isn't it illegal?
Was the dyno for HP at the wheels? If it was 104 HP at the wheels then the rating of 120 is pretty accurate.

Lucerne's Grille
Yeah, the black grill is much better than the chrome one, the chrome one looks rather cheesy, IMO.

New Challenger pics!!!!!!!!!!
Umm, not a whole lot I guess, it's just a pic from Autoweek of the Mallet Solstice.

Production Dates For ALL GMT-900s + Others
So, if the Silverado and Sierra go into production in July, that means we'll be seeing them at some show this season, probably Chicago or New York.

New Challenger pics!!!!!!!!!!
I wouldn't worry about the Camaro's power numbers. The 'Vette is getting a new 6.2L engine with VVT and other upgrades and will easily be able to make 430HP, and there's no reason why the top Camaro couldn't share that (I'm not sure when it's coming, but certainly by the time the Camaro is out). The 5.3L is also capable of plenty more than 303HP as seen in the Impy SS. A 5.3 with the same HP/L as the LS2 would have over 350HP.

Chrysler 300C Heritage Edition
Agreed on the color, it really makes the 300C look a lot better. I'm not sure about the little logos on the seats (if you leaned back it seems like you may hit them with your back) but it looks pretty nice otherwise.

Newbie's pics of TrailBlazer SS
Whoops, looking at the pics again that window sticker was for the Corvette, not GTO  That's why it said it got 18/25.

Difference Between 3800 and 3900?
The GM Media site used to say that the 3900 was the same exact CCs as the 3800, but it appears they have since changed it. And no, they aren't related at all.
