  1. I e-mailed the Chevy store asking about a possible Camaro concept diecast, and this is what I got... My e-mail: Their resopnse: So... we'll have to keep an eye out!
  2. Fly: It's nice to hear that your SSEi is going strong! Our 1992 SSEi went for about 80k, but had problems with interference/misalignment of the screws/blades in the supercharger because the bearings in the nose cone went out. Chances are this was caused by my driving style at the time, but non-GM mechanics told us that the nose cone required replacement every 30k. I never read anywhere in the manual nor heard anything from GM tech's about any special service for the 3800 SC. Oh well...
  3. I don't have any comments for imports with high milage, but here are some observations anyways. I once hit my head on $hit handle, trying to get into a sequoia. Last summer I rode in my aunt's crv and the dash was soooo close to my knees (yes the seat was as far down and back as it went) that I felt like the slightest tap on the brakes would mean shattered knee caps.
  4. Considering the $h!ty travel schedule I had that Friday (getting to NAIAS), I'm glad I didn't try to cram another LAIAS trip in as well. I really wish I could have made it, but luckily there is the next LA show in December.
  5. Ditto, fbodfather told us it would be at Houston and I've been waiting to see some real life pictures of the red one ever since. Thanks!

I finally figured out how to resize and host the pics I took from NAIAS, so I thought I'de post the one I'm using for my desktop: And here's one just for kicks. I caught this guy walking up to the Camaro concept and take pictures on his phone.
  7. How about he gives Garnett to the Lakers first, and then calls it quits?

Same here. I bought the soundtrack to 'Requiem for a Dream' and even it manages to bring back all the sick feelings the movie gave me.
  9. Is that so... I'll have to take a trip to Vons later today
  10. Does anybody remember 5-Alive? It was a mix of some citrus juices. I remember drinking it as a child until it disappeared, and then I found some in Oxford two summers ago.

I've seen a few that take credit cards. I don't mind carrying the cash, but I prefer using plastic for larger orders (upwards of $20).
  12. Happy Birthday!
  13. EXACTLY! I can't wait for this to open... Las Vegas, here I come! (again) At least now I'll have something to do other then gamble and drink
  14. Thanks for the responses... 2wd does take a lot more concentration and awareness in the snow, but I've managed to do just fine in the snow (once when the highway had about 6 inches). I just have to remember to keep the momentum, and never nail either the gas or break pedal (unless I wanna have a little bit of fun)!
  15. I've been there once, for a late lunch. There was a consistent amount of people in line (5-15). Didn't care much for the food. Too much $$ and not enough burritto

Is that why this thread is so quiet??? hehe... Happy Birthday Josh.
  17. All of these are round trips... LAX to Mexico City about once a year Ontario to Phoenix to Albuquerque (when I went to Los Alamos) LAX to ? to London Heathrow (flew back from Charles DeGaul to JFK to LAX) San Diego to Chicago to Detroit (trip to NAIAS) LAX to Reno Mexico City to Can Cun LAX to somewhere in Virginia? (class trip to Washington DC)
  18. The rest of the roster isn't really that bad... It just seems like they tend to come and go. Sometimes they are kicking ass, and other times (probably like this game) they were non-existent.
  19. If only they didn't lose to Miami... or Washington... or even that close game against Pittsburgh
  20. I heard about it on the shuttle to campus... at first I was thinking like cmattson (ball hog again), but that all changed when I read a recap of the game. The man helped win the game, it wasn't just to be a show-off. Kobe is awesome! BTW, I can't stand to watch the Spurs or Pistons play. It's boring.

I can speak, read and write English, Spanish and Armenian
  22. Here are a few pictures I took of our Tahoe in Lake Tahoe. The truck doesn't have 4x4, but it did just fine. This one was taken in the parking lot at the beach. The weather was warm and sunny almost the entire week, so we didn't get to ski at all! Here are a couple I took outside the house, when a snow storm hit... the day we were supposed to leave! Enjoy!

Congrats! GTO's are a sweet ride! Oh yeah... Welcome to the C&G LS1 Club (it is an LS1, right?), I think we are members #1 and #2
  24. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NOS! I wanted to post some of my pics of the Camaro (since you didn't bother taking a camera), but I still can't download them from the camera!
  25. Anyone have pic's of the red one? I want to the LAIAS before it was displayed.
