my power steering pump is making noises and im pretty sure its goin out and i dont know what ratio it is but if i have a free pump from anouther motor and the ratio is 12 to 1 will it still work? does anyone know how to find out my ratio

from what i heard and understand once you go to synthetic oil it is not good to change back to regular oil because it can burn your valves but i do not know but i asked a mechanic at the local repir shop and that is what they told me

it is a 1996 chevy k1500 pickup z71 could it go off from bad brakes it doesnt do it everytime i start it. the boy i bought it from took off the o2 sensors because he could not find the wire harness on the intake where exactly does it go and what do i need to do to to get my oxygen sensors to work properly? how much and i looking at to spend?

what is the diffrences if it flashes or it stays on for the first time today my check engine light flashed like 2 min then it went off and came back on but it did something and now my truck seems faster i know the light stays on because i have no o2 sensors hooked up so it goes to safe fuel mode but y would it flash all the sudden?

i have a 96 ck 1500 PU and i have 373 gear ratio and a 305 5.0 i work for a landscaping co. and i recently pulled a trailer with just 2 dixie choopers its a 22 ft trailer w/ 3000 lb max i blew 2 rear ends the 1st one was the stock posiunit and i blew the spidergears i rebuilt it and i put anouther stock posiunit and blew that ond now i just have 4.10 running gears and open diffrential it pulls much better than the 3.73 but since its not posi it strains a tad bit but much better with 4.10

i dont have tbi i have efi and if i just buy a crate motor with out a intake manifold can i just bolt my manifold right up to it where would i put my injectors or would i just bolt the right on at the same time?

if i buy a 350 crate motor with a carb on it could i just put my manifold from my 305 on it and keep fuel injection or would i have to change my whole fuel system?what would i have to do to change my fuel system

what is the best way to rebuild a 305 with more horse power the motor now has 170000 miles on it and when i hit the gas the oil pressure drops instead of getting higher and i want more horsepower i have a 96 k1500 z71 and i do often play in the mud i have the stock transmission but i have 4.10 gears in the rear if i upgraded to a crate 350 would i have to convert to a carb or could i still use my fuel injection what should i do build the 305 or get a 350 crate motor
