Old news. What I find interesting is that GM found it necessary to stuff the ballot box. GM Rocks The Vote It actually makes GM look really desperate.

As long as gas prices stay below $3 a gallon things should be OK for further sales growth of GM's big rigs. There's something about $3 for a gallon of gas that causes people to abandon all sanity and dump their Escalade for a Honda Fit. I'm not too optimistic about low gas prices, though, seeing as how I'm paying $2.56 a gallon now and it ain't even spring yet! What's behind the rise in fuel prices lately?

Please, please, please don't castrate the 6-speed auto like Ford did in the Fusion (6 speeds, driver gets to select between Drive and Low only) Will the new Malibu offer a manu-matic?

Shame. GM is getting it right with the Silverado/Sierra twins. I mean, look what you can get now on a GM pickup truck! Satnav, power glass sunroof, power rear windows in the extended cab, exceptional styling inside and out. GM needs to attack the mid-size sedan market with a vengeance. I'm tired of excuses. Please don't bring out a well-designed sedan hampered by rental car attributes.

Styling looks sharp. But what do we know about substance? Will the new 'Bu offer Bluetooth? Satnav? Stability control? I'm curious...will GM at least make optional the kind of high tech gizmos that are available on cars like the Camry and Altima?
