What's interesting is that their 3.5L V6 is now rated 11 hp and 10lb/ft torque less than last year. I wonder if that has anything to do with the new ratings system? If so, I wonder if the Accord's new "increased" ratings reflect that? After all, both their 3.5 and 3.0L V6's are developing 244hp now.

Thank you for writing that because I was just thinking to myself, "Wow, if it only handles up to 280 lb-ft torque, then already it can't be used in the Lucerne." What concerns me is that GM finally will have a 6-speed automatic transmission, but in a couple of years, will they behind on the race again? I mean, MB has had their 7-speed out for a couple of years, and I read a while back that Lexus is "secretly" developing an 8-speed... so what happens? MB goes to 9 or 10 speed auto's and GM has a 6? LOL Then again, what to do with ALL of those gears?!

Like with John... we had been speaking every day, a few times/day for months... then like a couple of weeks before we actually met each other face to face, he decides that he doesn't feel our personalities would mesh romantically, but we'd be great friends. Oh c'mon. Just stab me right in the heart why don't ya. Needless to say, we still talk every day, and I still like him, but alas, that's about it. We'll be having dinner this week, and I'll be forced to sit across from his beauty and just not stare at everything going on across the table LOL

Hmm... I can't say that I'd take a LaCrosse over a Park Avenue Ultra, but I can easily say I'd take one over a LeSabre. The LeSabre's interior is disappointingly cheap, while the LaCrosse's speaks for itself.

Well, that would explain dropping the Rainier for 2008, replacing it with the Centieme. I just can't imagine Buick ridding themselves of the Rendezvous name... the vehicle has been so good to them, and people know what they are on the road.

One of my favorite episodes of the Golden Girls is when the girls find Blanche's old diary... and they read her initials on it... B.E.D. - and they say, "Why does it say BED on your diary?" And she replies, "Those are my initials.. Blanche Elizabeth Devarou." I still remember howling with the rest of the audience--I laughed so hard at that one... their reactions to the slut's initials actually spelling out bed LOL :lol:

One of my student's names is Emily Rose. I am interested in seeing the film, however from something I heard, I'm starting to doubt it's going to be as good as I originally thought--it apparently is a trial of events surrounding Emily Rose... so I think the movie takes place mostly in a court room with flashbacks. Bimmer, that is GORGEOUS! I would like to see the front side fenders integrated a little smoother with the front, but other than that, I mean, GORGEOUS!

Give it more time... it's still early. Scope out the girls... find one that you think seems nice--play it as friends, maybe flirt a little. But just take it slow, and don't worry about things--you've got a lot going for you. :)

I just can't get past the dash and the Hybrid's wheels... both are horrendous. I love the idea of a digital speedometer--always have... however, combining that with the analog tachometer and putting them in two different locations? Don't like.

Well, a 1-bedroom apartment here, no utilities, just rent... goes from anywhere between 1050-1400/month. The one I have my eye on is about 1250/month... it's just a bitch to get a place here--and forget houses... they're nearly impossible on the Island.
