One time I was supposed to go somewhere with my girlfriend and one of her friends. We were all going to ride in my car, then her friend said, "Oh wait, you're a driver, nevermind I'll drive myself." That should pretty much explain it. Aggressive, I dont speed through residential areas where there I dont have much visibility (cars parked up and down the side of the road, etc) but if I have good enough visibility I'll go 5 over in many areas, sometimes more because a couple of neighborhoods have absolutely retarded 15mph speed limits. Stop signs are a mere suggestion a lot of times, especially in town when there is one every block and there is no traffic anywhere.

I know I'm in the minority, but I like it. I liked the concept and I like the production version, and I really like it in yellow, the color just seems to work for it. A decontented version starting at about $19k would be a great competitor for the Element. Where it is now, the only real competition are the Wrangler and H3, neither of which is particularly attractive or has a great looking interior.

My '96 Century had cruise on the stalk and I'm pretty sure it had cancel, I think the cruise was on the right side of the column, the wipers on the left and the lights on the dash. Its been a while, but thats how I remember it being set up. Cruise on the wheel spoke (like in the L200) is kind of awkward to use, maybe its just me. The little cruise stalk on my Toyota is great, it moves with the wheel and it is places right where my hand rests when cruising. Lights on the left, wipers on the right. The only quirk in the Toyota setup is the high beams, when you pull (which turns gM high beams on) it just flashes the brights, you have to push to activate them. Just different, takes a couple of times to get used to it. I'd rather have 2-3 stalks than the SuperStalk with all of the things to push, twist and press. If I wanted to play Bop It, I'd go to a toy store not buy a new car.

Great, now people are going to be saying that bench seats are the asnwer when the actual answer is to get people to quit getting larger. If it were my choice, I'd leave seats at a reasonable size and if people cant fit in them, oh well. Engineers shouldn't be wasting time on this stuff because you have to have that second burrito or the large fries.

I've also never heard of alcohol giving someone the shakes. Alcohol is a depressant, and can have tranquilizing effects. Definately nothing that would cause the shakes, unless there was a dependance formed and you're having withdrawals (physically, tremors are a symptom of withdrawals, psychologically a person can feel like they are shaking without physically doing so, isn't the human body great?). Or its all in your head. Or it is something completely unrelated to alcohol.

That is is, and I know from experience that the EcoTec is a very efficient engine, the smaller displacement version should be even better when you're not on the turbo. And the torque steer thing, its just a pain in the ass. :withstupid:

Go get 100 Corvettes. Dyno all of them. I bet a couple make less than 400hp, maybe 397, 399, and I'm sure some make 404hp. It isn't false advertising because no two engines are going to be exactly alike, there are going to be variances that may lead to a pony or two being lost or found. And if you can feel the difference(seat of the pants) between 400 and 398hp or 270 and 268hp then you have the most sensitive ass ever.
