    I was thinking it may go the other way, especially with cylinder cutoff, you have a built-in 4 popper for gas milage and back to all 8 for power, torque ....all this is of course based on if they fine tune and develop it further then they have already and having read about the 2 stage hybrid...looks like things are going to get interesting though.
