They are the lowest vehicle GM sell in the intial quality survey. Why no 8 passenger versions? I'll keep our venture till the next version comes out or the Chevy Lamda truck arrives...........

I saw three silverados in lansing yesterday going into the Delta Plant. They were very lightly camo'd. They had checker-board tape covering the fenders to obscure their shape. Other than that they were pretty clean. Must be getting them out, now that MT is on the newstands

The current issue of Car and Driver did a full road test of the Impala SS. Even though the test numbers looked very good, they pretty much panned it. The said that the driving dynamics were unrewarding. They did say that it was a good effort with an 18 year old platform....... Thought the LTZ would be a more rewarding drive.

Don't buy a V-8 based on milage estimates. In real-life driving they'll be 5 to 10mpg lower than the V-6's. Decide if you can swing the cost of gas based on a 20 to 30% differential. I haven't seen anything higher than "teens" in any of the real-life reviews. Me, I'd go for the V8!!!!

I don't think they have a huge market out here. Would be a ot of fun when dropping the kids off at the scholl parking lot. The H2's would keep thier distance!

Could the solstice platform be stretched enough to make a decent 2+2? It would be a mistake to do something on the holden platform. IMHO
