The only reason I'd get a CTS-V is for the potential of the LS2/6...otherwise, I'd much rather have an e39 M5 (which while it didn't make more torque than hp, it still made plenty of it in relation to hp...unlike these newer ///M engines)I'm just interested in seeing what can be done with this V8...as it is right now, with some slight mods like a tune and exhaust a 335 puts out well over the acclaimed numbers for the new M3, and makes more torque than the new M3 stock.

The outgoing M3 though will outperform a CTS-V...(with the CTS-V probably being a bit faster on the highway)... I really don't like that the M3 is straying from the I6...Granted, I just don't care for the V10 (no matter how great it truly is) which means I really don't care for the V8 that is based off of it. I understand all the F1 inspired stuff...but I like torque, and the new ///M engines just don't provide that. In fact, I think the only BMW engines that make more torque than hp are the non-M V8's...

Some of those F1 engines rev in the 20,000 rpm range. It's pretty incredible to think about how fast those parts really are moving.
  4. That is the worst interior in Cadillac's lineup. I'd even go so far as to say I like the current CTS interior over this, and I don't really care for the current CTS interior.

    douchebag
  6. Well, not necessarily...The alphanumerics are in different orders...like 280Z or 350Z...BMW uses it like Z4 or Z3 (etc....), and they call the M-versions of those models "m-coupe" or "m-roadster".It's a silly lawsuit to an extent because I don't think many people get the two confused, though I have heard the term "m-cars" used in reference to BMW's. It is pushing it just a bit.

Sell the Intrepid and put that money plus the 2 grand toward something else... Or f@#k buying rims and invest the cash. (of course, this is the pot calling the kettle black...I don't even want to get into my situation with my car)...

.I think in both cases they are too "blingy"...The V10's would be a much better choice though. I don't really care for either of them, but I'm more of a simple design, brushed aluminum/painted/polished wheel kind of guy, and I like a nice lip.
  9. Hey...at least he'd die happy...
  10. Or maybe you could bring him some "material" if you catch my drift... :AH-HA_wink:

I get headaches frequently...(used to be every day when I was younger). I just pop around 6 ibuprofens depending on the severity and that tends to do the trick.

Our last dog Rosie, a red lab, sadly passed away last september. We have been looking around for another puppy. My mom has been wanting a yellow lab for a long time. We recently found a good breeder who just had a litter of English labs. They are located up north from us, so my uncle who lives up in Morro Bay/SLO took a look at them for us today. We've seen a couple pics of the puppies, but my uncle took some more. My uncle was actually the one who found us our last dog as well, and he picked up Rosie's sister (who was a black lab who also passed away). My uncle picked up a yellow lab puppy last year which sadly died in a tragic accident, and since then he adopted an older black lab. When he went to go check out the puppies he fell in love with a black lab puppy which he is decided to pick up as well. So once again, we have 2 sister puppies. My uncle picked out the name Stella for his, which is funny because my sister wants to call ours Bella. So their names will be Bella and Stella. They are 7 weeks old right now. They are let go at 8 weeks. Here are some shots of the puppies. Here's Bella And here's Stella A shot of some of the puppies... I can't wait to go pick them up next weekend. I miss having a dog.
  13. And it keeps right up with an e46 M3 for the most part in the speed category too. The M3 is a tad quicker and has better top end.
  14. I just paid 3.25 for premium...
  15. I never want to own anything less than 8 cylinders (granted, there are a few exceptions...). I don't care how high gas prices go. Hell...LS engines can get better mileage than a lot of 6's...
  16. Except it couldn't...when it first arrived, yes, it was quite the motor. The BMW is still the most well rounded vehicle out of it's current contenders, but it is by no means the fastest...The RS4 just rips it a new asshole. BMW builds the best I6's...its a shame they seem to be straying away from that. I'll just be interested to see the specs on this new engine. supposedly it will be a v8 based off of the M5's V10 making in the range of 400-440hp (and I'd assume torque in the 360-ish range...that's being a bit optimistic). The 335 with a turbo-back exhaust and tune can make that same range of power and most likely even more torque. It will be interesting to see what BMW did with this engine. Granted, the M3 will always be an M, but it would not be hard to make the 335 outpower and outhandle an M.
  17. The e36 M3's are cool...they have great potential as well. It's just a shame we never got the euro S50 motor.
  18. I love the e30 M3's...possibly my favorite M3. I find they often steal the show among enthusiasts wherever they go. I'd love to get my hands on one some day. Though, I have dreams of dropping a S50/52 or even LS engine into an e30 and I'd hate to tear apart a perfectly good M3 to do so.
  19. Firefox. Using anything else is just silly.
  20. Granted, the original e30 M3 came with the S14 4-banger. :AH-HA_wink:
  21. Hah...my name is worth $43,679,400
  22. My buddy has a Nissan Frontier which he has all done up police style. From the outside it pretty much looks like your typical black frontier, but he has it equipped with all the LED light bars hidden behind the windows and in his grills/head/tail lights. He also has it equipped with an extremely loud PA system complete with the siren system and radio straight out of your every day cop car. It's a pretty sick setup actually.
  23. I've been trying to justify you In the end I will just defy you
  24. Hold my breath as I wish for death Oh please god, wake me
