Working at a dealership I've had the privilege of drive several Saab's including a couple of 03,04,05 Saab 9-3's. With most of our Saab's being in the 20-30K range as far as miles go I have yet to have one on the lot that "squeaks". They have all appeared very solid and drive exceptionally well. I would recommend the 2.0T 5-speed in a heart beat. Also if your anywhere near the area of PA I am sure with you being a fellow C&G'er that I can try to get you the best possible deal. Or at the very least get you the auction prices so you know what they should be selling for roughly. If I can help in any way let me know.

Well it's official... I'm headed to get my GTO in Kirksville, MO with Camino. We will be headed East to PA. If anyone is along the way that would like a visit let us know and we will make plans accordingly. We will be in MO this Sunday the 4th. P.S. I'm stoked!!!

Ok a serious question... what would happen if i took a torch to the car and took off the b pillars and put a rubber seal on the window edges to make up for the gap? would it really mess with the structure that much? and i dont mean just chop them off. actually do some real welding work. any thoughts?

Well unfortunately i dont have the ability to talk the prices down im buying from either ebay or the dealer auctions. as for financing i really dont have to worry i get dealer rates so im going to get a good deal. im just biding my time till i see one i can steal. either that or im getting beater and just waiting for the zetas to come here. but i REALLY want a freakin goat.

I KNOW I KNOW... i would go for it but with the miles i drive in a day i really need the better gas mileage (when im not putting my foot in it) plus i can get them for cheap and honestly a Zeta is in my future *el camino* cough cough so i dont want to invest a lot into a car that is going to be a daily driver.
