What cars that havn't been made in years do you all the sudden see a lot of now.
I saw 3 Subaru SVX's three weeks ago at random times throughout town. I've also seen a lot of old Corsicas and Barettas recently, too...

What's in a name?
I sometimes use "pants_vader" as a screen name on other forums and on a Pirate MMORPG I used to play. Vader33 would look cool on my license plate...granted it's not taken in Colorado. Gotta wait till my Oklahoma tags expire first.

What's in a name?
Mine was actually the call sign of our aircraft as we flew back to the states from the Middle East. It was taken from a characature in a bathroom stall at a bar in Rota, Spain of Darth Vader with the quote "Nobody messes with the evil Pants Vader." It was liked so much by the pilots of our aircraft, they took it as their call sign. Pretty funny to listen to air traffic controllers of other countries refer to us as "Pader Tree-Tree," "Vodar 33," and my favorite, coming from an ATC somewhere in Europe, "Lord Vader 33." The 33 part was because one of the pilots thought it would be an easy number to remember, other than that, it has no significance.

Class action lawsuit
So I gets a letter in the mail from some settlement claims place in like Butt, Montana telling me about a class action lawsuit against GM for faulty speedometers in their 03-05 m/y 15/25/3500's (Tahoe, Yukon, Silverado, Sierra, Avalanche, Suburban). Says basically the original speedometers will...not may, will go bad at one time or another, either displaying the wrong speed, or no speed at all. My Silverado is an 04, I bought it with 40k on it this past December. In January, the speedo took a dump on me, reading anything from 30-60 miles under. Once, it read 90 while I was stopped! So I took it in, the service guy told me there was a special "program" going on to replace them free of charge. Had I known about this settlement, I might have been able to get some $$ out of this deal. Turns out, if you've taken your truck in to get the speedo fixed, you're excluded from the settlement. Note* GM claims there's nothing wrong, and that's why there's no recall.

N00b here
Just thought I'd introduce myself to the forum, I'm Marc and I'm from Denver. I drive a 2004 Silverado Z71 and I love it. My wife has a 2001 Blazer, but we're going to be retiring that one soon for an Avalanche. Looking forward to hanging out with y'all here on the forums.
