User-Generated Content Policy

At Cheers and Gears, we value the contributions of our community and encourage users to engage in discussions, share their opinions, and contribute content. To ensure a respectful and constructive environment, we have established the following guidelines for user-generated content:

3. Originality and Attribution: Users should strive to create original content. If referencing or quoting external sources, proper attribution must be given. Plagiarism and unauthorized use of copyrighted material are not allowed.
4. Prohibited Content: The types of content not permitted include, but are not limited to:
   • Illegal content or activities
   • Explicit or pornographic material
   • Violent or graphic content
   • Misinformation or false claims
   • Promotion of harmful activities or substances
   • AI-Generated Content: While we encourage authentic user contributions, we acknowledge that some content may be generated using AI tools. Users must disclose if their content is AI-generated. We reserve the right to review and moderate AI-generated content to ensure it aligns with our community standards. Please review our AI Content Policy for more information.
5. Privacy and Personal Information: Users should not share personal information (e.g., addresses, phone numbers, financial information), otherwise known as "Doxing" in public posts. Respect the privacy of others and avoid sharing their personal information without consent.
6. Moderation and Enforcement: Our moderation team monitors user-generated content to ensure compliance with these guidelines. We reserve the right to edit, remove, or restrict access to content that violates our policy. Repeated or severe violations may result in account suspension or banning.
7. Reporting Violations: Users are encouraged to report content that violates these guidelines. Reports will be reviewed by our moderation team, and appropriate action will be taken. Registered users are encouraged to use the built-in reporting system. Visitors that are not registered may report via our Support Portal.
8. Disclaimer: User-generated content reflects the views and opinions of the individual contributors and does not necessarily represent the views of Cheers and Gears or its staff. We are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of user-generated content.
9. Policy Updates: We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our community standards or legal requirements. Users will be notified of significant updates.
