  1. 80s and 90s Thunderbirds First the Fox 80s car: Then its successor with the independent rear: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1yzl2oEgqs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CA9w9rtXm_4
  2. Ford Contour: <- not sure about this mod.
  3. While I basically hate the Dodge Aries, I had no idea there was a Shelby Turbo version (and a wagon at that?) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDL1asy9QMA
  4. It's best hearing about transplants going thru their first. They're ready to pack and skate that very second.
  5. Supposedly Chino Hills, which is about 50 miles inland. Aftershocks right now in Diamond Bar. Everyone I hit up (all but one) said it was a party.
  6. Anyone else enjoy it like I did?
  7. Tough crowd.
  8. Ah, the 80s. The time for hatch louvers, chrome ladies, gold leaf, and dual-blade windshield wipers.
  9. It's Toyota Cressida time!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XSf58-vFo2U Back in the days of Toyotas with character.
  10. They're on everything now from Civics to late-model 3-series. Now I know why all these douchebags love to yell "rice rice rice"* these days. It's because so many car owners tastes are frickin' tacky. *Doesn't mean I advocate or condone that term.
  11. One thing I couldn't stand when searching for good vids is so many of them play that corny techno music. Like this one with this fairly interesting 77 Olds Omega: It's like Fast & Furious meets Night At The Roxbury. It's bad enough hearing South rap. And hey, everyone, let's not post such ginormous pics. Having to constantly horizontally scroll the post is annoying.
  12. I think those year Cutlasses are beautiful. I value that far more than any Eldorado.
  13. The mighty Dodge Lancer Turbo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6y4Z_q8Ee0 Doesn't have to be a Shelby as long as it's a turbo IMO. Why can't Avenger or Sebring be that cool?
  14. Try the 80s Turbo Isuzu Impulse:
  15. Yeah, we know there is a certain crowd (trailer trash, ghetto folks, poor people, hillbillies) that drives these cars into the ground....or bought them that way. But does that mean said cars are not worth the trouble to do a little something with? Not worth saving? Maybe building for a little SCCA track action, engine swapping, a clean cruiser, or even a kit car or electric/biodiesel conversion? Even if they aren't a loser's car, maybe it's simply something you often see parked with "For Sale $1000" written on the window in white shoe polish. Rules: No, you can't name off muscle cars, pony cars, or anything from 1969 or older. No Z's, RX-7s, Supras and such either...or Hondas or air cooled VWs. Those are all givens. Nothing rare like Rover Vitesses either. I'm talkin' more like: Volvo 240s: or a Pontiac Grand Am?: Anyways, hopefully you get the idea...and as you can likely tell: Or youtube vids or something like that. It can be chops, photos of a stock one, whatever.
  16. Saw this wonderful 66-67 2 dr. sedan Chevelle in the back lot in Leimert Park.
  17. The today show: -saw a Nissan GT-R downtown, that pearl off-white color. -and a silver new Challenger heading down Crenshaw. So the machines for the enthusiasts are hitting the streets. Haven't seen much else that I haven't posted about before. Though I do take a look at what folks are putting up for sale, and I caught a early 70s Ninety Eight 4-dr. on Robertson. Would be nice if I didn't have gas prices to worry about (seem like a great car for dates).
  18. Room for people bigger than 5'8-150 could have been considered also IMO.
  19. Kinda like political talk, eh? Disclaimer: I am simply clowning, folks. Be easy.
  20. Gollee, bro, tell us how you REALLY feel!!
  21. Maybe the upcoming coupe or a V-8 engine swap culture might change that?
  22. Hmmm, kinda like how the 67 F-bodies had cues (in greenhouse) one could figure akin to the notchback 64-67 Mustang? Every single era seems to be walk by one particular styling language, with slight variation as to not get sued by competitors. Like the 60s Coke bottle thing; 80s formal rooflines, sharply wedged fastbacks, and blacked-out pillars; today's fascination with having either a BMW-esque or Mercedes-style greenhouse, etc, etc, etc...
  23. Looks right out of a heavy metal video.
  24. Definitely doesn't look like just another standard.
  25. A lot of cars can fit the muscle car description but won't get the tag because they're "not American."
