our family had an 06 ls for acouple days when a car was getting repaired... my own take... just somethings i noticed driving it for maybe 40 mins total. 3.5 is gutless in 4th at 55mph... yes i know, what do i expect, it was turning maybe 1500rpms... just the shift into 3rd seemed so abrupt (on back road highways that are hilly). acceleration is "brisk" though when you're on at least 1/2 throttle from a stop. maybe the 3.9 would help w/ my first comment. i'm not really used to such firm cloth seats...prolly not so bad on long drives... just something one would have to get used to or break in really quickly lol i do wish gm would start to seperate the computer menus from the stereos... so it wouldn't be such a pain for aftermarket installs. overall quality seemed good.

i love my polk db speakers in my monte, 5 1/4 front and 6 1/2 in back, well rounded and not harsh highs cause of the silk domes. as far as h/u goes... whatever, if it meets your needs and prolly has a decent pre-out V . w/ a pioneer though, i like the built in x-overs hi and low. the 4xxx model that's new...? not familiar w/ amps really, or at least installing them. have fun.

if it's going to try to replace the safari, RWD and AWD are musts... maybe a slightly stretched version would give, maybe more room inside than the safari had. if the chevy and gmc are really good, - cause i love the lambdas ( the saturn the least, easily lol) - then that's fine, but i bet most of the market won't be interested in them (minivans) outside DCX, yota, and nissan by 2009. but if this is real, time allways tells

just something to add... science has proven that a "human has...(looked up) 23 pairs of chromosomes" right? ( other than some deseases from more or less) so a zygote (fertilized egg) is a human, be it in a lab or where it's supposed to happen, and should be treated as such. ok, "stem cell research" is way to broad. we can get them [stem cells] from other things too, like the placenta among others. we don't need to be doing stem cell research on fertilized eggs. why do we need to have egg and sperm banks? i thought diesels were 30%, turboed 33%... the best they've done is 40% w/ methanol (turboed) and a compresion ratio of 19.5 : 1 i'll try to find a link later. not sure what they estimate gas at... maybe ~25%?
