if the manual could still be used and gets the same mpg, this would be just as competitive as mitsu's engine in the eclipse, then the argument over OHV v OHC could be nill for large v-6's

this leads to other questions... if we reduce our gas usuage a considerable amout, somehow, where will the $ needed to upkeep our roads and build new ones come from---- more and more gas taxes? hopefully not

might be right, remember the first horseless carriges were battery or steam powered. in effect we're trying to come full circle with the power source. might want to mention where hybrids are most useful--- buses and other short distance transport if you get into the "hydrogen economy" that's much more debateable. ---safety, environmental disaster possiblities (start a thread or messege me for anything about this) as far as cleaner-- same could be done if some authority in my part of the country (missouri) started pulling over old caravans and lincolns and such that are clearly burning oil , some how do something about that. kinda emissions, but kinda safety related ..on second thought, "safety" is why emissions were mandated right? lol isn't there supposed to be a california law that would prohibit moding or transplating any engine after factory? not sure if that got passed or not.... mean old engines couldn't be replaced w/ newer cleaner ones anyway,

i like most anything, but not pop and not most country. good music withstands the changing of the decades, and even few bands can change with the decades and still produce good music. i do like the new depeche mode song on the radio, also like their old stuff. but i also like they might be giants, and a wide variety of other rock oriented bands, inluding indie bands like modest mouse edit:considering i'm 22 now... and i'm finding i like more stuff that was overplayed on the radio from the mid-late 90s more and more, when it's played on the college station, but i was exposed to 105.7 KPNT in st louis in the mid 90s also
