sounds similar to my monte's #4 misfire. 3.1L, but moved the wires from my sister's 3.4L grand am, and maybe the coils... but the rough intermitant idle... sounds similar.

if you got the money.. buy another board in the mean time, then resell the rma'd one if they ship you a new one.

exhibit ~2004 @:17 and after. when demoed, one section was weaker than was planned and fell into the river stopping barge traffic for a couple weeks.

i think it was the memory controller part of the chip. it would not boot with dual channel installed (after the 1st or 2nd day), but 2 sticks in single channel worked fine....for about 3-4 months. when it ran it was typically fine, but usually after i put it to sleep it wouldn't always come out of sleep without a hard reset. sometimes when it was running it would act like it was in sleep mode with no warning when it happened, requiring another reset. the good thing is, if you figure out it is the chip, AMD returns seem to be good. the process is fairly fast. if my x3 ever goes again, i prolly wouldn't get another x3 since they stopped selling them, which would be awesome or bad. lol

i agree, unless tech, or amount of luxuries drastically change... you know, like tata different. you did mean new cars, right? they have to, commodities and labor prices haven't and aren't going down.

that's my point. if people can't buy 1st hand cars, but need a "new car" the 2nd hand market will get crowded. KBB or NADA, may not be able to predict this happening and thus have not changed any information. also C4C had decreased the amount of 2nd hand cars. possible increased demand while supply had been set back at "a couple years"... rise in prices. it does sound like some of them are crazy, but in a year it shouldn't be so crazy, or it'll be normal by then. so plan wisely.

if new ones are getting 5-10K+ more expensive than a few years ago... inflation. until gas skyrockets (again), any vehicle is worth more than it was several years ago, no matter the mileage, as long as it's pretty clean and runs well. some of it is new chassises, new cars, new tech,... pushing people to buy used. are these prices dealer prices or individual?

guys, it's the newyork times, the same that gives people like noble lauriet Paul "mcdouchebag" krugman a voice to spill forth his ...brain damage as Z calls it. lol but what free parking causes, is possible miss-use of that land, and the money used to make it. nothing is free, it requires time or money to create or use anything. calling it free is just an enticement to do something one might not do otherwise.

i'm curious why you are comparing a n/a, "no tech", 8v engine to an "ultra modern" engine as the turboed gm and ford products? from wiki on the DI 3.6L- "The LLT engine has a compression ratio of 11.4:1, and has been certified by the SAE to produce 302 horsepower"...and that's just on regular.... much closer to the m5 than the turboed ones. nice post Dwight! i agree.

yes i hate distorted pics too. but i don't mind if it doesn't fill the entire screen. i just haven't found any/many 1080 wallpapers that i like. i also seem to like darker ones too.
