i didn't know the 575 was an SLP mod to the SS.

the 4.3L certainly should be replaced, but 10% bigger? i do see why you want to simplify it all, but wouldn't just alittle modification be needed to update the 3.5/3.9L block, and give 280+hp in a ~3.9 variant and be inherently smoother with the 60 degree bank? the perception of the OHV 4 seems like you'd have to show a REAL benefit over ohc engines, not 1 mpg but more, show it's smoother, ... sounds like it'll have more power. i know you've adressed it several times, any advantage for moving forward with a 3valve design?

so... going to my new job's orientation today...30 miles south or so, I saw an old econoline(i think) made into a crewcab truck, basically, and on the way home say a blazer with a conversion van roof extension on top of it. (copied from the june one....cause i put it in the wrong thread)

it looks like a saab ~2005?, but dumbed down.

there are worse things to be seen in, right? my previous wagon ownership makes it kinda cool, in mind. wish it had an engine pic.

looks like fillers... but the side filler areas look "good"...? i would think all of it would deteriorate at the roughly same speed, since i had experience with my 83 regal.

i'd kinda look for things like olds suggest... look into diet needs. staying hydrated enough, perspiring and still needing to pee? on a related excersize note, me and a friend biked~28.9miles the other day. i drank 1 32 oz of power aid and about the same amount of water, prolly should have had more water... but you get the idea. it was ~mid high 90's with humidity making it ~103 or so. was outside for 3 hours, was tiring, but had been doing ~18 miles at night in 1:45 or so. hope you figure out what you need to feel better.

yeah. 17w... only problem is now my 19" crt isn't really getting any movement, i've turned down the brightness ~50% so it should be less likely to burn in. i put the pc into sleep when i don't expect to use it w/i an hour or so. i tell you my original x3 crapped the bucket back before thanksgiving? should have known it would, dual channel died 2nd day i had it. sounds like mem controller was faulty.
