Do you ever see people replace Toyota Badges
Not too long ago I saw a beat up Pontiac 6000 coupe, with vinyl roof, 2 bald white wall tires, and a shot rear suspension. Then on the back window it had a giant Dodge decal that said: "YEAH... ITS GOT A HEMI"

The LEAST safe cars of 2006
http://www.iihs.org/ratings/image.ashx?rh=169&id=2 What was GM selling in the compact field when that car came out (2003)? Cavalier: http://www.iihs.org/ratings/image.ashx?rh=45&id=2 Grand Am: http://www.iihs.org/ratings/image.ashx?rh=137&id=2 Malibu: http://www.iihs.org/ratings/image.ashx?rh=136&id=2 Ouch :( What about DCX? http://www.iihs.org/ratings/image.ashx?rh=119&id=2 So yeah... I'd feel pretty safe in the Corolla. This was in 2003. The 21st century. Thank god they finally got with the program on the Cobalt and Epsilon cars.

The LEAST safe cars of 2006
BS. The current Corolla is one of the safest compacts on the road today.

Judgement & Reaction Time
There was a thing in the news a couple days ago from Florida where an old guy with dementia, who somehow still had a licence, hit a pedestrian, then immediately forgot about it and continued to drive several miles with the the dismembered body lodged in his windshield.

'06 Impala Fit-and-Finish
I haven't sat in the Impala yet, but I was looking at an HHR yesterday and was a little dissapointed by that interior. It looks great in pics, and in person the design is great... radio great, guages great... but whats with the plastic they use for the dash? Its hard and all grainy and rough. It doesn't look too good up close... Still a nice car though.

Miller & Me
Well the one good thoing about Moore's fame is that at least now people know who he is and what his tactics are and will be smarter than to agree to be in his films. A lot of people in his first movies agreed to interviews thinking he was a legitimate documentary filmaker interested in their industry, only to find that he only asked pointed political questions, then hacked up the responses to fit his views during the video editing.

Do you keep track of mileage statistics?
I agree with that sentiment... Some people are off their f*cking rocker when it comes to gas prices. I work at a gas station (university student :( ) and people actually freak out at ME and what a whole explanation of the oil economy just because Esso down the street might be at we might be at 95.0 and Esso down the street is at 94.5. Thats just cheap. You are saving half a penny, which you would burn anyway by driving further down the street to get it, but you still make a big deal about it. But as for a new car every 10k... I hope those are company cars :o .

Do you keep track of mileage statistics?
I don't do it on a regular basis. I keep track of a couple tanks every few months just to keep a general idea of what kind of economy I'm getting. The 78 Monte/305 gets approx 19mpg. 2003 Corolla LE/1.8 gets around 25-30.

2007 Yukon Hero card
Why the hell are floor shifters such a big deal? I've never understood that... its an automatic, what difference does it make where the shifter is. Putting it in the centre just wastes usable space. I guess having it down there makes some people feel "sporty" or something...

Imports in the GM parking lot
I hate people that drive imports and work for GM. They probably give money to the terrorists too.

Sexual Preference
Wow... never realized there were so many gay guys here. I'm straight... Never had any second thoughts about it. No problem with gay people though, grew out of that in high school. I am a Christian too, but IMO any real Christian should know that its not their place to judge others in this world. Just about every gay person I've met has been a good person. Well... except for one weird old guy that came into my work late one night and kept offering me a blowjob... but he might not have been gay, probably just a crackhead who needed money. And no... I didn't take him up on the offer :P .
