  1. I like the avatar of the guy typing at the keyboard who gets mad and starts banging his hands to mush and throws his eyeballs out of his head and crashes it down on the keyboard. Does anybody have that one?
  2. rivieraranch replied to berg0449's topic in Buick
The demand for them is sufficient without smearing blood all over the price tag . .
  3. You're betting that it will rebound. Sometimes it doesn't.
  4. Depends entirely upon whether you want to be a trend setter or a trend follower.
  5. Would kill to have a CXL V8! Paulie: I would only kill for a CXS; but I would crawl on my belly for a CXL V-8. R.R.
  6. How close are these supplier prices to invoice? to the GM employee price? I bristle at this "Red Tag" event because it prevents negotiating for a better bottom line, if that were possible in the first place. Thank goodness I am not in the market for anything right now. I would buy a Lucerne if the price was right. The trouble is that none are available locally here in the concrete jungle of South Florida. Even if they were, the dealers would be jerks right now about negotiating on one. They should sell cars to people over the internet and the dealers could deliver and service them. I am so sick at the thought of negotiating with dealers in my part of the world.
  7. They should kill off Saturn and GMC before looking at Buick.
  8. [quote name='moltar' date='Nov 11 2005, 04:55 PM'] A coworker of mine bought a Rendezvous when he was 31, but his wife (who was 29 then) drives it the most.. I was 29 for 15 years . . .
  9. SPECIAL PAINT????
  10. We lost a few roof tiles and were without power for 5 days; this is nothing to complain about. Thanks for your concern. I tried dealing with Image Shack last night but must be doing something wrong.
  11. We attended the Miami Auto Show at the Miami Beach Convention Center on tony S. Beach in the concrete jungle of Miami Hyphen Dade County. I took a good many snaps and this stupid board won't let me post them. If somebody would be so kind as to help me out with this I would appreciate it. The Buick display had a chopped away blue Lucerne with a cashmere interior and a silver one with black inside. Both of the vehicles were CXS models. The blue one looks very nice;"regal" if you will, in the dictionary sense of the word. The silver one I don't care for, especially what they told me were raw chrome wheels as opposed to the shiny chrome plated wheels the blue one had. I have never seen metal on wheels as ugly as the ones on the silver Lucerne. The Lucerne is magnificent in person; my wife, one of Buick's harshest critics, liked it a lot. There were not large crowds around the car but there were a steady trickle of people looking at Buick's current offerings. They had several Lacrosses AND NONE OF THEM WERE GERIATRIC WHITE! There were 2 CXS models, 2 CXL's and only one base. I was very proud of Buick for keeping the boring, non-descript, ugly white cars out of this show. Friendly and informative Buick personnel manned the exhibit. I did not learn anything that is not already posted on this forum, but if somebody knew nothing of the Lucerne they could get an earfull from these people. The blonde on the turning platform told me how excited they were about the car: I replied "I'm elated that you're excited." All things considered it was a great show and a very nice presentation from Buick.
  12. I installed the printer using the HP CD. What the hell should I do? Uninstall it and do it over?
  13. After reinstalling the operating system, everything else is in good order, except for the printer, which takes forever to print a document. What should be done about this, because before the reinstall, it would print promptly after the command was given.
