Porsche does not sell that many CARS worldwide, so a disproportionate percentage to diesel cars is not that surprising.

It's all about that NOx issue. Maybe it is time to go EV instead. Either way, this will cost a LOT of $$$$ for the Germans especially.

The Bolt is a good small car. My question is this: where are the EV Equinox and EV Trax? Better still, where are the EV Cadillac XT5 and XT4? GM needs to build those too, because Tesla either cannot or will not build them.

FIAT itself is the money pit; Alfa Romeo is just a poor decision. Then again, Sergio has clearly demonstrated that he basically hates Chrysler and Dodge, so if he siphons $$$$ for Alfa Romeo and FIAT great for him. Bad for all others. Will Chryco survive until 2021? Place your over/under bets.

Small problem: execution and product availability are everything in this business. Elon Musk and his crew have clearly underachieved on this one. Seems like no one can actually get their hands on a Tesla model 3. Pitiful.

So where did the other six million in sales go? Hyundai/Kia? Toyota or Honda? As for the sales figures in this post, Cadillac needs a Enclave-sized CUV to go along with the Escalade STAT.

Is there a place for a station wagon in the era of the crossover? Given sales figures, I doubt it but Volvo persists.

No worries: the Escalade still dominates the segment. The X7 is climbing uphill against the leader in luxury large SUVs.

Key West? The nearest Cadillac dealer is in Miami close to Homestead, quite a distance from Key West. I doubt any dealer has been in the Keys in a long time.

I am not aware of too many Cadillac dealerships that are aligned with something else. My local Cadillac dealer has been mostly standalone since they opened shop in 1973. There might be a few, but I suspect not too many Cadillacs are sold in those (small) dealerships. As for Lincoln, those were paired with Mercury until Ford shut down Mercury in 2009. Lincoln itself (and Genesis) need to have their own space as separate dealerships.
