IMO, (with the exception of a ZL1 or some limited-production Camaro) the top V8 Camaro should have equal or less horsepower than the base Corvette, never more.

All 4th gen SS models used SLP engineering, but 98 was the first year it was done in-house and not shipped away.

Yeah, if you look on the solstice GXP minisite, one of the pictures has blacked-out pillars and smoked headlights, while the others don't.

A while ago, I saw something on Kelley Blue Book, while I was pricing out a Tahoe, just for fun. It was some sort of add on package to (I think) LTZ. There was also something about power assist steps. It looks like they don;t have it anymore though.

Oh, if you would have sat in the Aura and Sky you would have noticed the lack of quality in the interior materials.

A lot of the interior materials were extremely flimsy and very plasticky. I'm not usually one to pick on this kind of stuff, but it was pretty bad. It could have been just because it had gotten so much abuse at the show, too.

I just got back from the New York Auto show, and besides having a bad driving/parking experience it was a lot of fun. I have to say the Aura and the Sky that I sat in were pretty crappy. I don't know if it was just a show car or what, but it was total junk. Most of the other GM cars I was pretty impressed with though. The Camaro was truly a work of automtive art, and was even better than in pictures. I'll probably post some pics a little bit later. Any other questions?
