I am just glad to see GM growing some other place than the US. In an increasingly global economy this is not a bad thing. Although I would love to see more Impala's than Camry's on the road.

I see plenty of Camry's... A guys a know owns 10 cars, one old Bug, and a few Stangs, new family car a 2007 white Camry LE! (4cyl. automatic! YUCK!) I told him go with an Impala, 500, or even Accord!

But people push the it is all American. Toyota trying to be red, white and blue is a mistake. They are an import call them what they are. I am glad someone finally got the facts out. The media bias is so bad right now it makes me sick!

Fly's right most of Lexus's line is with RWD based vehicles.

I hope we get a non-turbo SS too.

As much as I dislike pillars, it is gonna be okay and would not stop me from getting one. I think I need to stay out of this thread it is getting very "heated!"

I loved Olds products too, like first and second gen Aurora, Intrigue and the many "old" Cutlass models, but seriously Olds was getting to sporty and had to much luxury stepping on Pontiac and Buick's toes. Before the Lucerne and Enclave came out I said Buick should have been killed instead. After seeing the new Park Avenue (that we should get here even if in little numbers) and the Riv concept my mind changed. We can't change what happend in the past and if they kill Pontiac for all you Pontiac haters out there they would loose even more sales too. If BGP is treated as "one" full line like Chevrolet, GMC trucks, Buick luxury and Pontiac, sport there is no reason why that shouldn't work out well.

Hopefully this one will have a real interior, unlike the one I saw at Chicago with blacked out windows an just moldings.

I liked the Fiero but it did nothing for me.

Yeah it is but because of premium fuel rising fuel prices and my profession and having the instant label of having too much money it had to go. Maybe when I get older, I fulfilled a dream I had since Nov. 1990 when I got my 1990 Grand Prix LE which was a Bonneville. I can recall walking into my small hometown dealer and lusting over a White 1991 Bonneville SSE with tan leather and a moonroof, and plus my dad had many Bonneville's. Ever since that day I wanted a Bonneville SLE/SSE/SSEi or GXP and look I got one. It was a real bitter-sweet thing I know my father would have approved of my '05 SLE including the color. Although he would have ordered a GXP with a Northstar! :AH-HA_wink:

I agree with the person man who said update the Impala, DTS and Lucerne. But uhh I would take it one step further and redesign the G-Body and call it a Chi (I know never exsisted) and end up switching the Impala to RWD. But they all could use 6 speed auto's for 2009!

I doubt it is a new Monte Carlo it would be more likely to be called a Chevelle anyways.
