REPORT: GM creditors want majority stake in exchange for debt
You damn right it is. Thank God maybe some common sense will finally prevail. I said SOME. I am not asking for ALOT. Just SOME.

April 2009 Sales: Ford Motor Company
Good for Ford, they have been down the "$h!ter" longer than GM has been tho. I am glad, I just hope we can hear the same from GM, uhhh someday. My neighbor just got a new V6 SEL 2010 White Fusion on a side note, sharp looking car. My other neighbor just got a new Malibu 2LT with a 4 cylinder as well. Both made me happy they choose American.

[Updated] Pontiac Officially Dead in 2010 as of 04/27/2009
Well Camino you might get your wish, with a GMC badge on it. Nothing would make me happier and no one would deserve it more. I would also like to see the G8 come over to the Chevy stable and be sold to the public and law enforcement! Autoblog G8 ST Might Be Badged as a GMC

Hot Rod Hearts: Cadillac CTS-V
I could never afford one, and would much rather have STS V6 RWD loaded or a DTS Performance Edition anyways, but this article brings up some good points.

Apparently ugly is contagious
I actually liked the out-going model ALOT. The new one is ugly. Flat out ugly.

Stopped in at my local BPG dealer today
Camino thinking about a GXP eh? You deserve one as a treat for yourself. I have a feeling lots of people will be snagging the G8's that remain, because of what a great car it is. Can you still order one? Or is that over as well? If I had the money I would have a new GT model in my driveway as well. To put away for the dark ages, hell it might as well be a GXP.

Is the Corvette to go the way of the Ponchos?
Thank you someone who actually gets it. The day they can't give a Corvette a V8 is the day the car should die.

Is the Corvette to go the way of the Ponchos?
At least I hope.

Oh it will don't worry.

Is This The Final "Fix" For GM? No Way
A government owned GM might just send me over to Ford. Seriously if this happens I have will most likely have NO HOPE for this company. I will just have to find a good Ford dealer, and for someone like me to say this is scary.

GM to seek another shared Toyota model to replace Vibe
I couldn't agree more. I would make it the HHR replacement.

I am no longer a GM fan
Actually Satty you might just be right. I hope for a strong Chevrolet with SS models and a strong Cadillac, even Buick/GMC.

Camino I am deeply sorry to hear this. I have always enjoyed you and your comments. Best of luck in the future and on your projects, please try to stay active when you can.

Well then my question becomes... G8, G6 G5, G3, and Solstice all dead by the end of this year? The Vibe might live on into 2010. Get your hands on a G8 GT or GXP while you still can, same goes for the Solstice Targa! Well a sad day in automotive history.

I am going to go to bed now Camino. Hope for the best. On that and your positive (possibly correct) news I will go to bed. Pontiac could die, but the cars and legacy they made will last forever thankfully no government or anyone can take that away. Like it or not, Pontiac is an American nameplate that will live on in the hearts and minds of those who believed in everything it stood for... Big V8's, Bold Styling, and that signature Wide-Track!

I am pretty close, if you couldn't tell. My next new car might not be GM. I said might. Even for me that is a huge thing, but it will be domestic.

Post or no post, we have heard nothing for sure. I trust Camino so you never know. Having said that I am prepared for the worst. Once again without Pontiac I fear Buick and GMC could get axed as well. (In the US that is.)- [Updated] Pontiac Officially Dead in 2010 as of 04/27/2009
Could be but, really no GM brands are safe at this point. Maybe Chevrolet and Cadillac.- I rode in a brand new Corolla XLE yesterday
I did test drive a Rav-4 just for fun before I got my CUV. Just to see the bench-mark and it didn't impress me. Nor did its pug like styling and its 4 cylinder and 4 speed automatic powertrain combo. At least my Torrent moves, even if the motor was made in China. I buy GM because I tend to like there products and have had GOOD luck with them. Sure I am loyal but many Toyota owners are too who ONLY blindly consider Toyota, hell they don't even test drive anything but a Toyota. I drove a Rav like I said just for the hell of it. When I got my Impala I drove an Accord and a Century to compare as well. My Bonneville, well uhhhh I wanted one since I sold my '77 in '90 so I just got it.- I rode in a brand new Corolla XLE yesterday
My thing if you really are looking for a better car than the new 09 and up Corolla, then get a Mazda 3, Ford Focus or Honda Civic. All much better and more appealing choices.- I rode in a brand new Corolla XLE yesterday
Well then what I have to say to you is, I made a choice to support an American car company, keep in mind we are on a GM FORUM. If you have such a problem with my North American made CUV from Pontiac a General Motors division then go some place else. Why the cheap shots? Honestly, I am not going to bring up your daily driver. (That I dislike.) - [Updated] Pontiac Officially Dead in 2010 as of 04/27/2009
