  1. Someone has a little sense in here at least.
  2. We had a 95 Lumina. I have no idea why my parents thought they needed a minivan, but they bought it. They realized their mistake shortly and traded it on a new Suburban in 96. It was a good van though and like you said they run forever, but it was still a minivan. There is actually a professor on campus who owns our old van. I recognized it by one of the pieces of side glass. When we had it I hit a baseball through the side glass. When it got replaced the tint didn't match up quite right. The same dealer stickers are on it still as well. Even though we didn't have it long, we made a lot of memories in that van.
  3. wow that is a LOT of leather. Minus the black thinger on the brown sections of the seat it is actually pretty cool. Too bad they had to kill a few dozen cows to make it happen.
  4. Pretty much anything the hitch on the back would be rated for.
  5. Congrats on the new vehicle. If you want a remote start, be sure to look at aftermarket. You can get some great systems for about 450 installed. 2-way remote and everything. They really work slick.
  6. I really don't think the wheels are too big. They just suck.
  7. These things would sell, I don't even have to look at the front end.
  8. LOVE the wheels. The wheel flares would be a nice option as well. The roof rack is rediculous though, and the Yukon front end still really sucks.
  9. The HD pickups need that wheel option RIGHT NOW.

Well I've narrowed it down to the 360 or Wii. I like a lot of the games on both systems, just need to decide if I want HD and better graphics or just something that is fun for everyone. Having not really been around the gaming scene since after the N64, I don't know that I would miss amazing graphics. I seem to be leaning more and more towards the Wii. Isn't the Wii supposed to be about equivalent to the PS2 in graphics?
  11. Beautiful car. I loved the GXP Bonneville and would love to have one some day. Have you ever thought of finding a set of GXP wheels to go on it? You could rebadge it and no-one would be the wiser, haha. There is a guy with a silver GXP who lives in my neighborhood which a set of red line tires on it. That thing is hot. Make sure to post it on here if you are ever going to sell it.

That is what I kinda of feel might happen with the Wii for me. It's just something that is different. Tiger Woods would be a blast I bet though, and Guitar Hero 3 is going to be available on Wii. I know I would play those quite a bit, even over time. For the price though, I don't know that it would ever be too much of a waste to have around.
  13. I check their websites if I ever want a good laugh. They find some pretty scrazy stuff. Steve is one of the quickest comedians I have ever listened to. He is usually the one I am laughing at. I don't know how someone can come up with that stuff so quickly.
  14. ...Preston and Steve on WMMR? I found their podcast on iTunes over the summer and now listen to every show. I can't get enough of these guys. People must think I'm not quite all there when they see me listening to my iPod, laughing my ass off all by myself. Anyone listen because these guys are totally office.

I'm sure there are a lot of you out in C&G land who own one of these systems, and have maybe even played all of them. I'm not a real serious gamer anymore, but I would like to get back into the scene. The Wii's price and ability to play old Nintendo games is definitely a plus, but the graphics aren't even in the same ball park as the others. With a big HDTV to play on, it seems like almost a waste to not go HD. The Wii just looks like a lot of fun. The PS3 is a lot more expensive but has Bluray, which makes it justifiable. I have never played one though, so I can't compare it to the 360. From what I have played the 360, it is impressive, and the price is a little more in line with what I would like to spend. Isn't the 360 HD-DVD compatible though? That would definitely make it worth it. The price really isn't the main thing. Whatever is going to be the most fun in the long run is my goal. So why do you guys love or hate any of the systems? Let me know.
  16. To each his own I guess. I actually like the chrome section of the bumper more than the painted. Plus a pickup truck needs a little bit of metal on the bumper IMO.
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pC1KHsvXMDY I love it. Shows you all the new cars and gets the point across that this is not the old Saturn. Its a different version of another commercial I saw, but this one is done much better. What do you guys think? If you would have told me 5 years ago that there would be a Saturn that I want to drive, I would have told you you were crazy.
  18. Oh, they have the best signal around here as well. Another reason why am stuck with them. I hate the program that they put on there phones though. Cripples anything I would really like to do with it. It is just a phone and that is it. Blutooth is very cool, when Verizon doesn't cut out all of it's features. Txt messaging is much less annoying when don't have Verizon's program making the phone painfully slow. Unless I move somewhere else though, this is what I have to deal with.
  19. I really do like the white too. I don't love many white vehicles either. I was trying to convince him on Sunday how nice it would look with new rims on it. He could switch to a nice set of chrome 17s for a very reasonable price and it would really set the pickup off. It would look a little different as well. He doesn't see why he needs to. He's old, what does he know.
  20. Unfortunately that is pretty much all we have to pick from up here. That or Alltel if you went coverage all over the state. Sprint has gotten a lot better up here as of late, and I would love to leave Verizon. Everyone I talk to is on Verizon though, so it is kind of hard for me to justify leaving when I would be giving up all those free minutes.
  21. You need a friend that can deal with you, so that you don't need to deal with those kind of junkies. That way you don't need to worry about getting busted buying on the street either.
  22. Geez...thats a machine
  23. Good chops guys. Especially Mario. You have shown a lot of improvement since you first poked your head into C&G. You were my first pick. Keep up the good work guys.
