    Yes, for now diesel is quite low too, but I doubt it's gonna stay that way. As the price lowers people will increase the demand more and more as they stop using the alternatives (cooking oil is quite popular here), and that's gonna destabilise things.

    In Romania the all-time record is about 7 RON/liter quite a while ago, which adjusted to $ with correct inflation adjustments would translate to about 9$ per gallon. Right now the gas prices are at their lowest, which is 5 RON/liter.
