Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Skips Detroit Debut, Announces Debut At CES: Comments
They will still be at the show, they just won't be showing a new model. If the new model is an all electric vehicle it actually makes a lot of sense debuting it at CES where tech is at the forefront. I disagree they are near bankruptcy, but they have a plan to be financially solvent by 2018. if that works out and they are back in the red by then, we will start seeing an influx of models, which is basically already being shown to be in development (Next Ram, GC, Wrangler, 21 LX cars, etc, etc). The automotive industry does not work fast folks.

Random Thoughts Thread
Haha, had a random flat, I think he road debris knocked the hose loose on my windshield washer bottle, blown foglight bulb, and my driver's window decided it isn;'t want to stay completely in track anymore. Not big deals really and these winds and deer have made the roads crazy. that said, at least I got a new heater for the house and new fridge yesterday to replace the one that decided to blow up haha. That said I now have my new phone loaded up with a couple 100 of my favorite songs and singing along in the Beetle and playing them through BT is still the most relaxing experience I have haha.

Star Trek Reboot Discussions!
Olds, you will Enjoy Beyond, lots of original series style humor (you will know what I mean when you watch it) and lots of tie-ins to other series like Enterprise. They did a lot since this was the big movie for the 50th anniversary. And I am so looking forward to Rogue one too. Saw Episode 7 the first day it was out (brother had pre-ordered tickets online).. I am in nerd heaven with so much Trek and Star Wars coming out right now and SyFy even has a few good space series out right now! Also there is supposed to be a Galactica Movie coming along with a new Stargate movie.

Star Trek Reboot Discussions!
I am a trek nut. I loved the first and 3rd, second was OK. The last one felt more "Star trek" to me than the previous 2. I wish they hadn't made the Enterprise Gimormous...... Apparently the 4th one is going to involve time travel and have George Kirk in it, should be interesting. I am also looking forward to Discovery which is supposed to return to the prime timeline.

I actually like that it comes basically fully loaded for the price, should be a nice daily driver that looks good. I think a 2.3 EB/AWD Mustang with performance pack would be pretty nice too

Dodge News: Dodge Challenger Adds All-Wheel Drive for 2017
I live in the boonies with big mountains and have driven fwd, rwd, rwd with snow tires, 4x4 and AWD. my preference is AWD because it maintains the best traction easily. And here they may plow the main roads, but even then the conditions remain extremely slick especially if temperatures are too low for the salt/sand/chemicals to be effective. This is why m brother always gets AWD with his cars and why he wanted AWD for his ATS.

Dodge News: Dodge Challenger Adds All-Wheel Drive for 2017
I personally don't want to see it become a small compact 4 seater because it's size is what gives it it's appeal. not everyone wants a tight sportscar. i would like to see them make a smaller cuda to compete sure, but leave the Challenger alone (speaking of size and capabilities of course). if all 3 were carbon copies of each other they would all lose their purpose for being, I LOVE the fact that they all 3 have distinct personalities.

It isn't going to set the world on fire for sure, but it is free money. If it even adds just a few sales they are good.

Dodge News: Dodge Challenger Adds All-Wheel Drive for 2017
I would buy it for exactly the reasons wings said. generally the Charger AWDs have been as quick, if not quicker, than their RWD counterparts so low to mid 6s in the 1/4 in plenty adequate and BTW considerably quicker than a V6 Cherokee, 2.0T Escape, or 3.6 GC. They aren't looking for SUV like sales either. 100 or so a month should more than suffice afterall, as I mentioned, development costs would be next to nothing.
