Me too. i really love the fact the Jeep pickup is upcoming and the fact the Wrangler has the 3.0 Ecodiesel on the option list, the truck should too. In love with the Trailhawk here. Seeing tons of them on the road. I like the way they started out with an excellent vehicle in the 11 GC and they have made minor changes nearly every year that has kept it fresh and made it so much better. Of course something capable of off-road interests me much more these days than the most HP.

New Wrangler, Wagoneer, new ram, new LX replacements coming on the Alfa romeo platform, The new engine family which is already in the Giulia which is really impressive in in acceleration/destroying EPA fuel economy figures, the Pacifica is top in the Van segment as far as features, room, drivability, FE, just got a new Compass, a major refresh is coming for the Cherokee, etc, etc, etc. Oh, and the Wrangler pickup which is guaranteed to be a hit.

Half of Mercedes SUVs are based on he same damned platform and have seen the same degree of updates since 11.. I doubt that. Also, no idea where 2.8 is coming from, I see 3.3, but I doubt the tesla will still be ahead at the 1/4 mile mork once actual tests are done and I know it will not come anywhere near the top speed. The model X also posts less G on the skidpad and is riddled with issues. it is also smaller than the GC with far less room inside and the "Falcon doors" have proven to suffer from massive issues.

Looks like they are sticking to their while upgrading it. The Sahara has always been the lux version of the Wrangler, so this is no surprise. I am sure we will get the Rubicons with the locking front and rear diffs and sway bar disconnect. I find it amazing they are able to still keep the live axles (even in the pickup as the mules confirm) and the convertible top, removable doors, and folding windshield.

I can't get anything riht now haha. Good thing though, because i have no idea what i want. I love any Challenger or Charger with a 6.4 or Hellcat, I love the ZR2, the Type R is a hell of a surprise (the SI is turning out to be a bit of a letdown to me though), Still love the Golf R, even with a little bit of VWphobia right now. The Camry XSE V6 is an interesting options. I also have evolved an Affinity for the Chevy SS and the 18 mustang GT. I followed a Hellcat for around 30 minutes the other day and we played some and yes, he could pull away from me at like 1/8th throttle lol, but the sound, oh mercy.

Read again, I said compared to midsize sedans. He Legacy isn't exactly a handler.

They made some nice updates starting in 14. Mine is the 12 so it is a little more excessive in body roll than you would think, but on the same hand it is still a blast in the turns.

You are talking about a BR-Z, not a Malibu or Taurus. Modern tech can really make huge differences in the feel of a vehicle. Keep in mind I am not talking huge CUVs like the Traverse, etc. You can get midsize car room in a compact SUV and here we are talking about vehicles like the CX-5, Forrester ST, Escape 2.0 EB, which basically as light as any car, and manufacturers do great jobs lowering the center of gravity and roll mitigation these days, so I stand by what I said.

Keep your target market in mind. To your average person they are going to pretty well feel the same. That is not a good comparison. The Jeep will naturally have a softer feel as it is built with off-road in mind. Now, take the SRT8 and there is something surprising. The Trackhawk should be marvelous as well, and the kudos of the Handling of the Durango SRT are just all grins.

But that just isn't true, the vast majority of CUVs these days drive as well as their sedan counterparts.

Hatchbacks are a decent compromise. The SUV has it's advantages. easier loading, larger and better shaped cargo bays, better visibility over the road, wider availability of AWD, Better ground clearance which is not only good for off-roading but great fro high snow and the ice we get here when it does snow. Better ability to travel the less traveled muddy roads. And these days they really do basically handle as well as sedans (not counting sporty models). This is just the facts of things and i can't blame anyone. i have had compact cars, midsize, and even fullsize cars. Sportscars, pickups, and even a few SUVs. For family hauling and ease of use the CUV/SUV DOES have an advantage.

It is sad to see sedan sales fall, but current CUVs and SUVs are not the flaccid driving pieces they used to be decades ago.

No, not you You know who I am talking about though I am sad to see the ATS goes. The ATS for all it's warts is a beautiful and fun to drive car. I still hold my hopes and heart out for a version of the El Mirag, though I will not hole my breath. With Mercedes sticking with the S Class coupe and BMW coming out with the 8 series, there may be something there.

Jeep sales seem fine to me. 73k units last month with losing a model and updates for the Cherokee and a brand new Wrangler just around around the corner. Incrrect. Their sales are fine and the version of the platform under the Cherokee is VERY different than the dart. It is losing sales, but it has went 4 years without major updates, which are coming, along with a more conventional front end from the spy photos seen. Basically everything, but the Cherokee, the soon to be replaced Wrangler (which still moved over 28k units, has any Mercedes e ever moved that many just in the US in a month?) , and the Patriot which hasn't been built in literally months and was the main loss of sales. And the 3 row SUV is coming. Along with the long waited pickup.

The ATS has been in the shop multiple times and the entire unit even had to be replaced with less than 5k miles on it. It is not just pwople not knowing how to use it, it is possibly the worst unit on the market. And have you been in an ATS, A4/A%, 3/4 eies? they have WAY more room. the front seat is fine, but my skinny cousin has issues fitting in the back. My bug is 20 inches shorter with considerably more backseat room. The ATS is way too big to be as limited as it is in room.

I think they should recombine the ATS and CTS in one car. That tweener size at a compact price is what made it successful. My brother's 09 CTS was great in size and drivability and that model sold so well. His current ATS is a great driving car, but it is so small inside, espeically compared with competing coupes in the segment. Cue is also a disaster.

It is not apples too ranges We are comparing midsize to midsize. The regal is not a luxury or entry luxury, especially at a starting price of 25k. Quit trying to make excuses not to compare it to it's true comparative set. It is just silly. We still compare the Ridgeline to the Colorado do we not? Dspite one being a FWD unibody and one being a RWD based body n frame. There are differences, but in the marketplace they are still comparable. Good grief.....

The Accord will be available as all lux with an adaptive suspension. the Camry XSE has a suspension turned for performance as well, and the Fusion sport can be optioned up to mach rthe GS for less than a loaded GS. massaging seats yay. Just what Americans who can't even use an automatic shifter needs. And headed and Ventilated seats are nowhere near as rare as you are making them to be. And the Camry and the upcoming Accord will both even have HUDs. The only real difference is that it has the hatch, but that does not mean it is not a direct competitor. The Civic Coupe and Sedan SIs are direct competitors to STs and GTIs despite them having hatches. You are going to be looking at 50ish grand for a loaded GS and that is really expensive for what it is. If it didn't have the same engine as every other V6 GM it may warrant the way out of bounds price. If Ford or FCA was offering this same exact car with their own top 6s (3.7 for the Ford and 3.6 pentastar for the Chrysler) all you GMophiles would be bitching it is too expensive.
