2018 Volkswagen Atlas SE 3.6 AWD w/ technology
Not sure. I drove an SEL Premium for the first time a few days ago, and it DID seem to be a little more competent. Could have just been the road, though. I think I am going to buy either an SE w/ Tech or SEL Premium. In Tourmaline Blue and w/ AWD. Not sure yet. I'm not going to pull the trigger until I drive the new Tiguan.

2018 Volkswagen Atlas SE 3.6 AWD w/ technology
I agree with most of your assessment. We have had all trim levels of the new Atlas by now, and I've even taken one home for a few days for my wife to see if she likes it. I disagree with your handling thoughts. The steering is a little lighter and overboosted for my tastes, but I think the vehicle handles well and overall, it feels and drives smaller than it is. The interior materials are definitely one of it's weaker points, but it can't nail everything. As for where it stands in the class, it's easily right among the top players. Drives better than most of them, has better packaging than ALL of them, and is priced competitively. It's been a hit so far at our store.

Honda News: Two Reasons As To Why the Civic Si Only Produces 205 HP
Well, no duh. This car isn't leaving a whole lot on the table, I can promise you that. Sounds to me like this Si should have been the Sport, and they should have given the Si a detuned 2.0T and dual clutch trans from Acura. The ST is towards the end of it's life, and is outgunned as it is. The GTI gets down under 3,100 depending on equipment, has 30 more hp than it's rated at, offers a significant chunk of what the Si offers as standard, and has much greater aftermarket support. As I said before, this car has a strong value quotient compared to base econo-boxes on the market, but it's not a full-on hot hatch.

Industry News: The Growing Trend Of Longer New Car Loans
As for that tidbit about 10% of 2010 MY cars being financed longer than 72 months- I think this skewed a fair amount by people with excellent credit and large income buying expensive items such as high-end sports/super/luxury cars. I also wonder if possibly vehicles such as RV’s/etc are figured into this. These vehicles are driven very few miles a year, and in some cases, may be appreciating assets, and as such, shouldn’t be indicative of a default bad statistic. I can tell you, people with low credit scores and buying cars with bad LTV’s are not getting 72 months on a 2010 year vehicle, let alone 84.

My thoughts on the horsepower war
HP and 0-60/1/4 stats win the marketing races. True enthusiasts know that's nothing more than print on paper. Just my .02

A "Would You Rather" Thread - 2015 Audi S4 or a 2005 Dodge Charger SRT8
Oh, jeez. S4 by about as big of a margin as there could possibly be. I'd take a FWD 1.8T A3 over that Charger all day, every day. That gen was just utter trash. Awful steering, awful handling, awful interior, awful tech, awful build quality, and not even that fast.

It's unlikely they will be much, if they do any at all. Based on what I saw on the 2016's my advice would be to go ahead and move now, while there's still good availability. Waiting much longer puts your selection at risk. I would opt for the Sport. Great equipment, and a one year only production run.

Quick Drive: 2017 Kia Cadenza Limited
45K for a KIA......let that sink in for a moment. I'd spend a few grand more and get an A4 Prestige, lol. Or anything else, really.
