  1. I personally think the GT350 will be a bit quicker in the quarter mile and possibly better-braking. Now, once the 1LE package shows up that may wind up being different again. And let's not forget the LT4. Because LT4.
  2. To be honest I'm a bit shocked they got out of the game. But it looks like a segment ready-made for them.

Probably give certain Benz roadsters some grief
  4. How could you tell? Ford refuses to allow timing gear on it. Based on 0-60 estimates it will be life and death to keep up with the SS. Not exactly a lot to show for 50 grand plus, is what I'm saying
  5. Sure, Kreskin Now... This Ram SUV. If it was my call I'd start off with a Tahoe-length wheelbase.
  6. Hey Burnt Valve: I cannot help it that you just got pantsed. I didn't tell you to out yourself as a troll. You just did. Now. Ram SUV. Nice upside in a weak segment. Shall. We. Continue.
  7. Actually, I was looking over old tests of the 392 Challengers. Some of their numbers are pretty comparable to the Mustang's. If you're looking for a bit more practicality and still want respectable numbers...
  8. Look. Bottom line: YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHO I WAS REFERRING TO. Reason being: I decided to try and play nice. There were PLENTY of brands it coulda been. I made good and sure of that when I posted what I posted. Then you decided to put words in my mouth. Because all you're here to do is force a one-brand agenda. We all know what's what. Now we all use that knowledge for our own ends Edit: the downvote is just further proof of your agenda
  9. Now. Ram SUV. Lotsa upside in a segment full of low-hanging fruit. Shall we continue
  10. So, Kreskin plays the semantics game. You're just disappointed that my post didn't involve your brand of choice.
  11. On topic, please! Now, Camaro. Utter dominance. Like, better to compare it to ATS-V than Mustang dominance. Shall we continue
  12. Oh, for sure the Challenger is the better road trip car for space. I've been in the back seat of a Challenger, it's actually livable.
  13. Then why speak plural ( fossilized platforms ) if talking about Nissan? Why you save quote, man? All you're doing is saving proof that you were putting words into my mouth. That's trolling, no ifs, ands, or buts. Also, Toyota platform? Kinda ancient too, wot? Yeesh
  14. It would appear that this was a test of automatic cars, since the article refers to the extra gears the Camaro has over the Mustang. Good to know, that
  15. Why, thank you kind sir. Actually, if you were referring to the C/D article, you could possibly scan and post some more-I'm sure it would be quite instructive. But only if you want to. I'm sure the whole thing will be available online soon enough.
  16. Uh... did you ever think I, like Drew, was referring to the Nissan? LOL@troll dragging brand of choice into argument
  17. You don't have to wait see. It just destroyed the dog Mustang. Again.
  18. Good to know. So if they do an LT4 version I can expect it to get even better FE numbers? And check out the size of that fuel tank. Guess they just chose a different priority for packaging instead of truly having less room. T The bigger gas tank is a trade off for the less than useless trunk. I haven't seen such a useless trunk since my last MR2. Of course, that's not the primary goal with this car or any pony car but it would be nice to have a larger opening for it. It's not that bad a trunk. Besides, the back seats are good parcel shelves.
  19. Yes, well. Whatever. So, Car and Driver basically gave all the good feels to the Camaro. I think if you look at the performance charts that the Mustand had a slightly lower c/g (which they promptly squandered in the handling) and was a bit quieter under full throttle (uh... yay?). But that's it. Man. Ford needs to get back in the game ASAP. After all, it was about this timeframe in the LS smallblock's lifetime that GM gave it a power boost...
  20. Good to know. So if they do an LT4 version I can expect it to get even better FE numbers? And check out the size of that fuel tank. Guess they just chose a different priority for packaging instead of truly having less room.
  21. Clearly you never checked out the first pic. According to C/D there WERE no shortcomings. It was a massacre.
  22. The acceleration numbers appear fairly consistent with MT: a half-second advantage to 60 for the Camaro, increasing to seven-tenths in the quarter. Braking shows a similar advantage. And the Camaro even got better rated AND observed FE numbers. Excellence of Execution.
  23. No links yet. But a coupla VERY telling pics:
