So has BMW. Either brand's formula is iconic. Hence why the C7 is rumored to be smaller, lighter and more efficient. Looks are subjective. Plenty of people my age still find the Corvette to be a hot car. I'm not among them, but they exist. NO! NO! NO! NOOOO! Not this old chestnut again! Yes, the car uses leaf-springs. But, the 'leaf spring' argument is only used when the person does not know any better. At least read why the argument is invalid. I am assuming that was a typo. You meant to say 1997. The LS Series was a clean-sheet design. Weight, man, WEIGHT! The Corvette is a SPORTS CAR. It needs to be light. Competitors that are substantially more refined can be found, but they cost much more. The major problems with the Corvette are mainly limited to: Price, and Quality, particularly that of the interior, and overall perception. People do not buy the Corvette because of 'leaf springs' or for having an outdated 'formula.'

Both the previous situations are little more 'serious.' I'd assume your neighbours are quite reasonable then, as you didn't mention that they got upset when you talked to them on the two prior occasions. Also, perhaps try earplugs. I use them, and they help you sleep so much better.

I'd talk first. Being a landlord, I've had to 'settle' quite a few noise complaints between tenants over the years. It's always best to play a friendly neighbour angle first. Calling the cops can turn a potentially amicable situation into a hostile one.

The DoE and ChryCo agree with your opinion wholeheartedly. Which is exactly why these trucks are being rigorously tested, and the program is lasting for several years.
