1. Mitsubishi Galant VR4? I honestly have no effing clue
2. XP715 replied to loki's topic in The Lounge
Maybe because he's not funny at all outside of when he did Burt Reynolds on Celebrity Jeopardy on SNL?
3. My message is simple: niggers, Jews, ho-mo-sexuals, Mexicans, A-rabs, and all kinds of diff'rent chinks STINK, and I hate 'em! </Clayton Bigsby> But seriously, you guys are all cool to me.
4. '63-'78 Buick Riviera ('71-'72 most wanted) '68 Buick Electra 225 convertible/two-door hardtop '49 Buick Roadmaster (any) '70 Pontiac Grand Prix (for my dad) any interesting originals from any GM division, any year

So when are people usually in this $h!; I just logged in for $h!s & giggles and I'm the only one there.
6. I'd guess textured; 's how it is on its two-door Buick brother. I need to get a new piece down there as mine has some scratches in it from where the previous owner bumped the concrete base of a sign with it.

Hah! About damn time the Whizzer got one! Thanks!
8. Sixty8, what about whatshisface up the road a ways from you that just built that big steel garage on his property to house his DeTomaso Panteras?
9. Everybody in my neighborhood is a Volvo station wagon-driving yuppie homo. When we first moved in ten years ago the couple a few doors down had his 'n' hers '87 Monte Carlos which was pretty badass, but they've since been replaced by the most beat up bright red '94 Skylark in the free world and a '97 GMC Jimmy, also bright red. We're the cool car family in the neighborhood. As of right now our fleet consists of: -2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 -1999 Pontiac Bonneville SE -1996 Buick Riviera -1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme -1937 Packard Super Eight (model 1500 touring sedan) The only guy that can even compete is this one old dude around the corner that has an '84 Caprice daily driver and an '83 Ninety-Eight Regency under a tarp in his backyard. I wish someone would move in with something neat for once instead of seeing my current neighbors buying another new Hyundai.
10. Hah, oh yeah! It did say Fiesta, huh? In any event, yeah that wagon's door looks like the one.
11. Kinda funny that the guy that started the thread about rising gas prices and uneconomical vehicles chose to recently purchase a '95 Buick Riviera that's supercharged and therefore takes premium only. My '96 is naturally aspirated and doesn't get the best gas mileage, so I can imagine what yours is like. Also, I don't see the reason why you'd dread restoring the Delta simply because it sucks down gas; that makes no sense. If anything, I'd be leery of it for how much it would cost to do right because playing with cars is a very expensive hobby; if you see the figures associated with what you'd like to do to the car the right way, you'll soon realize that the gas it'll burn when it's done will be a drop in the bucket by comparison.
12. Of course it's homemade; I can't believe Sixty8 never said anything about the back portion of the cab. Looks to me like someone used the rear door from an Oldsmobile station wagon of roughly the same vintage. It had a power window, a windshield wiper, and that circle thing in the middle? That's a little emblem that says "Holiday" on it. Seems awful likely to me.
13. 1938 Indian motorcycle and a 1954 Pontiac Star Chief two-door; what an awesome car! '66 Buick Skylark GS convertible yesterday, too.

Weird-ass cars these things are, especially for those damn half windows which I never ever got. There's a guy around here that comes by my work in one every now and again; a white '93 model if I remember. There's also a guy around here still driving his silver '86 XT coupe; another weird offering by Subaru. The car looks like a giant wedge! Print yourself one out, cut it, and fold it up if you don't believe me!
15. Just so long as I can participate with the '77 Cutlass that's fine with me; shoot for August 1st or later!
16. This is about .00000028% more plausible than him being buried in one of the end zones at the Meadowlands; another widely-held theory. My prediction: cement shoes. He's in the ocean somewhere.

I've always gotten the concept, and it's a good one, but I've always wondered if they could have thought of a better name. Students Against Drunk Driving; is anybody actually FOR drunk driving, or..... Chinese riddle for ya

Riviera, you say?! You could always put some gas money in your pocket and sell it to me! Pics?

Congratulations!
20. Yes indeedy, I go to UMass. My major is Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies so I'm on South 95% of the time. If you've ever noticed a big pearl white Buick Riviera with Bruins plates, or more likely a bright red '79 Cadillac Coupe DeVille in the big parking lot across from the animal shelter, those are my rides (Cadillac's sold now, though). Small world, eh?
21. Apparently bad enough to be closed so I get an extra day to write my final paper for Political Thought! Actually the University's probably high and dry; the closure has more to do with the fact that the end of Broadway and Middlesex is flooded and closed, meaning no parking and therefore no class. Not to mention it's a huge commuter school and God only knows what everybody that doesn't dorm there has to deal with in terms of the flooding.

Last final on Thursday = License yanked for 60 days on Friday = If Sixty8 is reading this and would like to make me a new Tight Whips signature for my 1938 Whizzer Motorbike replica, which will be the only motorized vehicle I own that I'm still legally able to operate come the 19th, it would be most appreciated. Laugh if you must, but remember that two rubber wheels is better than two rubber heels any day of the week! And yes, thems is twenny-sixes! Reckonize.
23. Another heartbreaker: Dodgefan, if you can get yesterday's Lowell Sun where you live, you can see it, and i'm guessing Sixty8 has it, but the big picture on the front page about the flood shows a car and swingset underwater in someone's backyard. If you look closely, you will notice the car is a '79-'85 Cadillac Eldorado, submerged to the base of the windshield. So sad.....
24. Brookwood Estate, all the way. Kingswood Estate would have to be fancier.
