What is your next car purchase? revisited...
I plan on getting a new Camaro when I graduate, and I dont think that will change. Until then, I am looking for a 98+ TA or Formula to satisfy my F Body bug.

Hate Front License Plates?
Although I dont live in California, or a state that uses front license plates, I think that this is a great idea. I have been looking at buying a TA for awhile now, and one of my biggest turn offs is having the front license plates. I can see why they can help from a law enforcement stand point, but I think that they absolutely ruin the look of many cars.

What kind of tools do you have to do this project?- Catastrophic Failure
The ring and pinion was stock, but my grandpa had an auburn posi installed almost as soon as it was picked up from the dealership. I wanted like 3.73's or even something higher, but since it is 4 wd the front would have had to be changed also. That would have been around 1800. So we had stock parts reinstalled. Deal, around the 4th would be awesome. I can let you use mine, I got some to pull people out of the snow, $20 a pop.- Catastrophic Failure
So I was driving home from work last week, when my Yukon started making a thumping noise. At first I thought it was just a bent rim or something, but I would have only been so lucky. After checking out all the wheels and taking it for another drive, I noticed that it only happened under power. After talking to a few people and having them take a look it, we thought it might be the U joint. It looked worn, but after replacing that the sound was still coming from somewhere else. It sounded like it was coming from the rear end. We took a look in the rear end, and this is what we found laying on the bottom.... We decided that this wasn't something that could be done in the garage over the weekend, and took it to the rack and pinion shop. This is what they found..... He said that he doesn't see stuff torn apart like this very often, and there was probably a problem with the heat treatment during the production. But now after a week with no truck and $1100, the Yukon is dune ready.- Camaro V8

This is the first I have seen of that image. If its from 5 years ago, chances are I haven't come in contact since I was an incoming freshman in 2005. When you talk about Prof. Berry, do you mean the mechanical engineering department haed Joel Berry?- 1st Annual C&G Member's Rides Calendar
I agree, the captions under the pics really make it interesting.- Simple Question: Yes or No?
Swing by and let me take it for a spin. then I can answer this.- Production Camaro Close to Concept; 500 HP?
I was distracted by all the yellow. AHHH the YELLOW!!!- Production Camaro Close to Concept; 500 HP?
WOW, you guys are right. I just talked to someone and it is a supercharger. I didn't get to take a good look and automatically assumed that the intercooler ment turbo. Thanks for all the corrections so I dont go around looking like a gomer. Let me try this again.... 1 Not a turbo 2 Roots style supercharge 3 Pancake style intercooler I may have gotten the facts wrong on this, but I am fairly certain that my info on the Camaro still holds true.- Production Camaro Close to Concept; 500 HP?
Its more ontop then it is between (the turbo isn't there, the intercooler is), but thats all I can really say. This is all proprietary information, so I cant really elaborate anymore about the LS9 system and how it works, but I really wanted to share what I found out about the Camaro.- What's your computer's specs?
That the reason why I decided to build my tower also. But the custom case was just because I was bored one week. - Project Car Suggestions?
