I chose Black with the cashmere interior. I love black when it is clean...hate it when it is dirty. I better get my scrub brushes and cleaning rags ready!

I ended up getting two dealers to fight out the final price. Totally loaded Denali XL with every option for 51, 826 + tax and tags. I think I did pretty good considering there are none of these on the road yet.

The dealer had already ordered the same truck for dealer stock so he expects it to be on the ground in about 6 weeks. Lets hope he is right!

The new Denali has the same engine as the new Escalade (6.2 liter with the 6 speed tranny). The marketing folks had it de-tuned by 20HP to keep the Caddy a step above.

Great! I was peering into the windows of a loaded LTZ yesterday and I noticed there was no DVD player "slot" in the back, and I only saw one in front. I was worried GM overlooked that issue of having to share the front DVD player between the NAV and the RES. thanks

For those who have the rear entertainment system in the new Tahoe: Is there a separate DVD player in the back, or is there only one in the dash? Can you operate the NAV and play a DVD movie at the same time? thanks

Anyone have any updates on the production schedules for the new trucks?

Does anyone have an update on production schedules of the GMT-900s? ...specfically the Denali and XL Denali?

I have not seen any reference that leads me to believe the 6.2 Denali/Escalade Engine will have DOD. VVT yes, but DOD no.

Personnaly I love all of the comfort options and gizmos that GM trucks offer. I spend half my life driving my truck (about 40K miles a year), so I want all the comforts. To each his own. Have you ever tried to order a foreign car/truck? It is not going to happen.

I think you mean 55K for the fully loaded version. Lets see... 2K for the sunroof 3K for the rear Ent. 2K for the 20s and 3K for the Nav/Camera... So I am guessing closer to 56-57K mark.

I have an iPod shuffle that I just started using. With the aux input jack on the dash it will be pretty cool. I guess I will stop complaining about the lack of the CD changer then!

Aparently on the new GMT900s if you opt for the Navigation radio you only get a single slot DVD/CD player. No CD changer available like the previous models. This stinks! When you have the Nav CD in the player, you have no option to play music CDs. This seems like a typical GM oversight to me. Even the Caddy does not offer a CD changer. You get one extra slot for 1 more disc. Better, but still not adequate. Comments?

Does anyone know if the Yukon Denali actually began production last week as scheduled?

Has anyone seen the 07 Denali in person yet? That is the truck that I am interested in. Gotta have that 380 HP and 6 speed tranny!

Just wondering if they are hitting the ground yet?
