Cadillac is rated fourth, but we should be careful who we compare with. Cadillac has 19% more problems than Lexus. That is something that Caddy has to fix. Buick has 12% more problems that Lexus. Let me be clear, I'm thrilled that Buick placed so highly and Cadillac placed right behind them. GM should be careful about claiming that buick is 3rd best in quality, because people are going to ask who is number 1 and 2.

Buick Lacrosse Super (more realistic)

I just got back from visiting my parents. They recently bought a new suburban LTZ and I must say that if the interior of the trucks looks as nice as the interior of the new tahoe's then GM will have a very nice interior. Outside though, I wish GM would have just copied the new tahoe's front end for the silverado.

You're right about the interior. That I can't tell, but the exterior styling was definately a greater improvement for both Ford and Toyota. Dodge really dropped the ball on the new Ram though. People were expecting something really great there and they delivered the same old truck.

I'm sure we are looking at the top of the line Tundra. I just think it was a bigger leap over the previous generation.

Ouch! I don't think I said the Tundra was balls to the wall, did I? Nope there's my quote, looks like I didn't. You can't honestly tell me that based on these pics that it looks like GM really brought their best game, can you? I didn't say the trucks were bad, What I was attempting to convey was, that the trucks look like GM played it safe. I love GM, no doubt and would never buy a Tundra. I'm just sick of GM bringing out kickass concept trucks and then lowering the bar with the production vehicles.

I hope that's the very base interior, because it really doesn't step up to the plate. This design is too evolutionary for me. I was hoping for a more revolutionary design. Some of the fetures, like the reconfigurable bed look cool, but they will hardly sell the truck. Power and looks sell every truck and this will have the power, but there are better looking trucks in side and out across the street at the Ford Dealer. Would I buy a ford over the chevy? No. But alot of people may and the new Tundra is not a bad looking truck at all.

I used the GNX name because I thought it would emphasize the performance aspect of the vehicle. Iit could easily just be called a Lacrosse Super. I also meant to call it a lacrosse not a lucerne. Thanks for the feedback! Can't wait to see yours.

looks great! Why has it taken GM 10 years to realize that the waterfall dash looks so nice?

Beautiful interior! Looks like they put a new clip on the front and back of an equinox. My 5.3 V8 in my Rainier gets 16 city and 24 Hwy, so I'm concerned that they coudl have put a much better engine in with DOD and gotten Better fuel economy.

GM made the contract they made with the UAW. My tax dollars should not go to help fix their mistakes.
