FIRST LOOK: 2008 Chevrolet Malibu
Love that new 'Bu, but it doesn't offer anything significantly better that my '00 Intrigue GL, esp. looks, even 7 years hence.

Olds name comes down. LSJ
sad, just sad. Thanks Zarella . Some of the best cars GM made, right up to the end. In honor, I continue to drive my '00 Intrigue, 7 years and many more to come.

Chevrolet Impala wins back to back titles
Work near the airport in Vegas, and I see allot of these as rentals. Actually I really like the LTZ, and even the SS. My in-laws had an LTZ when they visited, and I tried it out. Really impressed, and sorry, I actually love the styling. keep in mind I am a fan of FWD, so shoot me.

"SS" Won't Go On Just Anything Anymore

Mitsubishi Introduces 2008 Lancer
As Lutz says: "Looks like an angry kitchen appliance' LOL In fact, why has this become 'the look' for so many cars? Can't we all just get along?

CONCEPT: Ford Mustang Giugiaro
wow. My take is the talented folks here who design and draw can blow this design house out of the water and do better!

Another HUMMER in 2009
''Hummer typically targets affluent people in their 40s. The median age for an H3 buyer is 44, and 43 for an H2 owner. The average household income for H3 owners is nearly $128,000 while the average H2 buyer's household earns close to $170,000'' In my late 40's and a single income family, so my salary is not anything like 100+ a year (although I am paid well as a low level mgr. in gaming out here in Vegas). Salaries like those stated make me wonder what the hell these people do . Some have two income familes I suppose. Make a H4 to replace my Vue, for 25-30k at most, and I might consider it, even on my salary- LOL.

*Gasp* Another Camry glitch
As far as the recall's are concerned you obviously have no idea what the truth is! I have a computer at work with every GM and Toyota recall for the last 15 years or so and I promise you for every 10 GM recalls, Toyota may have 1 or 2. There are 7 on the Envoy alone and still counting. May be you should go to work for GM, it looks like that kind of thinking has been working really well for them. You can blame everyone else, but it doesn't change the fact that they created their own problem's. 207380[/snapback] ...and now Toyota may creating thier own, growing too fast and even having problems with the new Camry as they try to meet demand. If you are correct in what you say, then Toyota should 'learn' from GM's mistakes, quickly too. That or repeat history perhaps.

No New Corolla Until 2008 CY
Already did on edmunds Intrigue board, where some jamoke was going on how bad Amercan cars are and how great his Camry Hybrid was (a soul-less no character boring car if there ever was).

HUMMER GT by Geiger

Two retards in the back of the room hookup
Or better yet, as used to describe the 50's Studebacker/Packard hook-up:"Like two drunks helping each other across the street"

11 Lucernes to be Unveiled at SEMA
I get the same thing about my Olds Intrigue, except I am not hot whatsoever. LOL

Dealer on new Malibu:"It's going to be a home run"
While many who still consider American iron will consider this new version (me for example), I fear those turned off by bad experiences and even heresay about someone else's poor luck, will run away from this car. There is a whole generation that will never return to American cars, and thats at least sad, and at worst extremely niave and shortsighted. I just don't see how this car will out do the percieved value of a Camry or Accord to sway them, no matter how good it is.

New Performance Benchmark Test
NOW I know why I want one, esp. the SS supercharged one. A damn bargain too! Someone at work got one and I will try to find out who so iImay ask how they like it. It looked wicked blowing by me on the way home today!

Presenting the HHR Fall Limited Edition
Should've been called the HHR "Gothic' edition- LOL. Actually, black chrome on wheels looks like a chrome wheel with mucho brake dust- blah. Anyways, out here in hot Vegas, it won't sell. Dark colors and hot/strong sun don't do well here. Too bad.

Spied: 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS
I love it! I'd buy this immediately. To me at least, this shows the naysayers of American engineering are full of it. Way cooler than a Mazdaspped 3 or similar. Once again, it shows GM build cars with character! Hey Toyota, do you even know what that is? No? Figures.

Spied: 2008 Opel Astra
This replaces ION right? Is this what they plan to import? I assumed they might send a 3 door, but didn't expect a wagon. Not so sure the 5 door will sell well here either.

2007 Pontiac Wave Sedan
BTW, visited Edmonton over a year ago for work here in Vegas(gaming software co., met with AGLC). Loved that place! It was cold in Feb, but reminded me of Chicago where I lived for over 40 years. Nice city.

High fuel costs, its affordability save Saturn Ion
Sorry, cannot stand the dash and styling. I'll take a G5 GT, red please.

1999 Intrigue GLS
Yes, 1999 was the first year of the 3.5 twin cam, only in the GLS. The next year it was the only engine offerred. You'll like it, pretty fun engine, reliable, and takes regular, when Honda and Toyota V6's require premium. The planned 3.7 version for Pontiac and Buick was killed mostly due to costs to meet new ULEV standards. Today's 3.6 replaces it technically. When the Intrigue was avail, it was considered by many auto experts to be one of GM's best. Thanks to Zarella (my bro, a former auto CEO, met him once and said he was a rube) for killing it along with Olds. DO check out edmund.com on the Intrigue board for any details (good and bad). Price quoted is high for this now 'orphan' make.

Spied: 2008 Nissan Armada
This, and the Titan, have sold way below expectations, some fault has been given to the strange styling that some love, others hate.
