Parts won't be a problem, since all three vehicles were GM engineered using GM parts. Too bad they never got to build the 9-5 SportCombi, that was a sharp looking wagon. Really the whole Saab story seems to have come to an unfortunate end. They had the product, two of the three vehicles were brand new and were getting very good reviews, but the company didn't have the money to keep operations going. That combined with uncertainty over the company and lack of advertising kept buyers away no doubt. I'd love to own a 9-5 or a 9-4x. There's a 9-5 around town and its a very sharp looking car. R.I.P. Saab. As far as warranty goes, the fire sale prices they'll be going for now would make up for the lack of warranty for me.

General Motors Corp., which was 103 years old and was once America's largest company quietly died on Dec. 15, 2011. There were no ceremonies or anyone present to mark the company's passing. General Motors Corp. was founded in 1908, acquired more than 20 other companies in its life, including Oldsmobile, Chevrolet, Opel, and Oakland. That's tough. I've known a couple people who were suicidal. It's not fun. At least you were able to find him and he's where he needs to be.

If they wanted to be like Mercedes they would buy up a successful company under the pretense of "merger of equals", strip the company for all its worth, then sell it to some private equity douches. After which point they would then start building increasingly ugly cars. It's a German thing (except Audis they all just look the same). I have a compelling thought: lets wait and see until the car is actually unveiled and reviewed before passing final judgement on it.

Sandy claws is what happens when cats step out of the litter box. We have our cute little tree up, some lights around the living room door frame, and my fiber optic wreath (its so cool). Nothing outside this year, although I'd like to do a little something. It's going to be a small Christmas but that's alright. I'm just debating if I want to make a ham or turkey dinner...hmmm.... While I don't really want it to because it mans the road salt comes out, some snow would go a long way towards making it feel like Christmas.

It's always been an intriguing concept, I just wonder if anything will ever come of it.

Maybe the strong sales will FINALLY prompt Jeep to build a pickup. Since the Dakota is dead anyway there's a void that one of the brands needs to fill, and I think Jeep is in a good position to capitalize on it. Jeep guys love Jeep the pickups, it'll find buyers.

Not many other companies offer Pink, purple, bright green, yellow, and orange on their cars, so I don't doubt the Dart will have a eye catching selection of colors when it goes on sale. I'd liek to see what the who car looks like, then I'd like to see Snakeskin Green and Plum Crazy on it.

Don't like the long front overhang. It doesn't have those classic RWD proportions. That alone turns me off from it. The nose is quite bulky and upright, which is no doubt to meat European pedestrian safety standards. I like the interior, although it looks like other Mercedes coupes. Not feeling it overall.

That looks fantastic. The current Forte looks nice buy compared to the Optima or Sportage its much less interesting to look at. If the next one looks like those sketches that could very well change.

Stressed? Hardly. It appears it will make nearly as much horsepower while having a flatter torque curve than the V6 being an electronically controlled turbo, get better fuel economy, and best of all weigh less resulting in better wight distribution and chassis balance.

I know you had a special fondness for massive overhangs and poor packaging Z06. I'm sure you'll miss it dearly.

Thing is the Juke is actually a good car, like the Aztek was at least a decent CUV. The Crosstour on the other hand is both ugly and not especially good at being a wagon/CUV/hatch thing. Then there's the new Versa which not only looks ill proportioned but is much worse than the car it replaces.

Things is we can (and will) make fun of the Aztek all we want but as a vehicle it wasn't that bad, and compared to some of the stuff that's been put on the market lately, especially by Japan, it isn't even that hideous.

I wonder how those poor saps at Acura manage with only 5 forward gears?
