Don't forget that the Mazdaspeed MX-5 will be on par as far as horsepower and suspension. However keep in mind that the MX-5 has better steering response/feel and faster acceleration compared to the Solstice. Plus the Shifter is better. The Solstice is a more comfortable cruiser and is more stable at the limit. Each car has their own advantages/disadvantages. Me? I'd take the Sky RL cuz it's sex on wheels. However unlike you, I respect/acknowledge other cars that deserve respect. Like it or not, without the MX-5, I doubt the Solstice/Sky would even exist. I dunno where you get your sources but I have never seen a rusty 6, my uncle owns one and it looks great. I suppose you consider the Taurus platform better? And for all your "import bashing" don't forget that that platform your beloved G6 rides on originated from Opel/Saab..which are...IMPORTS! They are as much imports as Mazda, so be a little more informed will ya? (Not that that's likely to happen).

And do you forget Mazada is actually profitable for Ford, unlike it's own divisions? DO you also know the Fusion/Milan/Zephyer/EmKayZee are based off the 6 platform? You know for such a domestic humper, who hates anything foeign, including Koreans, you do realize the Aveo is nothing more than a Daewoo with a Chevy badge. You know a RWD BMW or RWD anything will be more fun to drive than a FWD G6 right? Hell, even the FWD SRT-4 is faster and more fun (I'll take that over a G6 anyday).

You know I keep looking at it, but from certain angles it looks like a Mazda Tribute, like what a new one would look like.

Front is interesting, but something happened towards the back. maybe the back needs a steeper rake ort something. Don't care for it though.

I wasn't sure of the interior at first, but you know it's quickly grown on me, I even like the wheel now. Exterior is great, even if that character line is a bit odd I still like it a lot. Go NIssan

That test compares cares of a different catagory, the Caliber I'm assuming near base form to match it's competeors...i haven't seen the article yet so i can't say for sure, just a guess. edmunds likes it, just think it's not as fun to drive with AWD, when the 2.4 FWD and a manual become available that should help the complaint there, and the SRT-4 will solve any horsepower issues anyone may have auto123.com liked it too.
