  1. He he he...I probably don't want to know the answer to that Q. As for the damaged and then perfect condition car ... I figured he had some great body guy in the background fixing it for him every time ;). He he he
  2. I believe Lutz has this one correct ... and it's good that they are _aware_ of this ... now, they need to GET THE WORD out and make a better attempt to CORRECT the public's point of view. Frankly, GM/Chevrolet (and other carmakers) used that to their advantage with their FWD "campaigns" of a few years ago ... why can't they use that SAME concept (getting the freekin' word out) to their advantage (again) ... and do better jobs at attempting to change those perceptions? *sighs* Cort, "Mr MC" / "Mr Road Trip", 32swm/pig valve/pacemaker MC:family.IL.guide.future = http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort/ Models.HO = http://www.chevyasylum.com/cort/trainroom.html "You've made a fool of everyone" ... 3. Are you both wanting/willing to meet up on the 14th? NOS, I thought I read that you weren't available that day because it is your Bday (HAPPY early BIRTHDAY, btw).....? If I come up, I'm going to try to head up on Friday sometime ... and then head back to IL late Saturday night ... since my 1st day back to work is Jan 16.... We have plenty of time to figure out plans, of course!

  6. *chuckles* Yeah, I know.... Hmph... Another one: In the Knight Rider 2000 movie of a number of years ago, there is a scene where police cars (Chevy Berettas) are chasing a van. When the people in the van shoot at one of the police cars, right before the bomb hits the car, the car switches from a Beretta to an 80s Dodge "Charger"....he he he.....
  7. Crap. Sorry I'll miss you Sixty8 ... but, if you're up to a few more hours drive west, you could come to IL..... *sighs* Maybe I just won't go ... I'm beginning to find out that half my friends are going the 14th and half are going the 21st ... I can't go both days ... and I so dislike seeing only half of people. Then again, half is better than nothing.... *pounds head on wall*

  9. As I've been resting (or restless, depending on one's point of view) since my gallbladder surgery December 30, I've had time to watch some of the Dukes of Hazzard episodes from Seasons 1 & 2. And, while I was watching a couple episodes from Season 2, I noticed this "glaring" peculiarity (among others, of course).... In Episode 14, "The Runaway" (originally aired 01/11/1980), Daisy's yellow car dives over a cliff and explodes after the accelerator gets stuck while Bo and Luke are in it. That same episode, Daisy is given "Dixie", her Jeep, by the father of the runaway gal. Skip ahead 4 episodes to Episode 18, "Find Loretta Lynn" (originally aired 02/08/1980), and what do we find ... Daisy's yellow car once again in the show.... At first, I wasn't sure that I had seen it correctly, but sure enough ... not only is it sitting in front of the Duke's farmhouse, but Bo and Luke jump into it at one point during the episode.... *shakes head* Heh...it's these type of "storyline inconsistencies" that sometimes drive me crazy, even though I know they are everywhere...he he he. You'd just think that the editors/producers would be a bit more mindful of these ... and catch 'em. Now, with that in mind, what oddities/inconsistencies have you spotted in TV shows or movies? Well, I'm taking Durvacet (er....that doesn't sound 100% correct, but close) for the pain. Met with the surgeon today for the follow-up ... he isn't too concerned about the pain, since they had to move my pacemaker wires during the surgery to make sure the gallbladder was removed. He thinks the pain is just from the probing around "in there" while they were taking out the gallbladder ... he says the gallbladder was worse than they thought. I'm to call him next Wednesday if I'm still in pain.... I return to work Jan 16.....

  16. Crap. I think I "misvoted". I plugged my vote for "Product line-up" (because they are not offering the Monte Carlo currently...and haven't since 1988), but quickly realized that it should be "other". Why? Because, along with the product line-up issues, they need to get the quality control up a bit more, too. Course, it's easier to tell them what needs a fixin' ... than tell them how to fix it :(.
