*chuckles* A friend of mine did just about this very thing a few years ago. He bought a used 2000 Chevy pick-up, which gave him a bunch of problems. He turned around a month later, sold the Tahoe to an unsuspecting young kid and purchased a used 2000 GMC pick-up. The GMC has never given him problems (still has it, in fact). Thus, he swears he will never own another Chevy ... sad part is, I had to point out to him that the trucks are virtually identical....he he heh. CRAP! For some reason, I was under the impression that it is not open to the public. Had I known it is open to the public, I would've taken the time to go see it when I was in Detroit, especially since Josh and I ate lunch right across the street from the Tech Center....aye :(. Ah, well ... that gives me another reason to get back to Detroit ;). No, I got your point. The difference, as others have already pointed out, is that GM owns this Museum ... Toyota does not own that place in Chicago.....

A little anecdote to "back up" those crash test ratings.... If any of you are in the Chicagoland area, then perhaps you saw the story about the volleyball coach that was rearended in her new Chevrolet Cobalt ... a semi rear ended her and crushed her car into the semi in front of her. Not only is she alive, but she dropped by the school today to visit her team.....
