I don't see these short-term pros outweighing the long-term cons such as shortened life, lung cancer, mouth disease, bad breath, chronic coughing, terrible lingering smell, etc.

Yeah, Canadian geese are bitches. I was out golfing last year and there were a flock of them just standing there around my ball. I starting walking toward them, and some flew away, and there was one who started stretching his neck and wings out. I'da clubbed him with my 5 iron.
