Cooking with Croc
Friend of mine has been eating like none of us ever has for a year now (super healthy) due to a myriad of afflictions. Amazing stuff I'm learning from him. You cannot eat what could be legitimately called "healthy" from chain supermarkets.

TCC: 2007 Cadillac Escalade Review
Why limit the comparison merely to within the giant domestic class, where there is a grand total of .... 2? Is this again supposed to mean 'only vs. the Navigator'... or are we talking the whole NADM class here??'Journalists' still fall into this outmoded trap of segragating domestics to only competing against each other.

New GS not so Lexus!
If the media's "negativity" was earned by GM's past poor products, then it's 'positivity' should be evident due to class equal products now in place. That is, if any measure of objectivity is involved. In the same vein, where was the "negativity" lingering years after hondas rotted to the door handles at 10 yrs old? Or more recently- the 'negativity' over one of the most wretched quality brands ever; hyundai??? That was only a handful of years ago; we should be reading openly disparaging remarks and generalizing slander until the year 2020 AT LEAST!! Not the case.

New GS not so Lexus!
My 12-yr old Ford (141K) has it's original valve cover gasket & rear main seal (another RWD/inline 6). In fact the only seal ever replaced on the motor was the pan gasket at around 95K. Sad day when you overpay for a car by tens of thousands and you have more problems than a $15K pick-up. These 'top shelf' cars ALWAYS fail to live up to the hype....

Don't forget; they flip over a lot, too. A crash helmet is not out of order.

Lucerne 2006 CXL
My parents surprised me by announcing a few weeks ago that they replaced their '98 LeSabre with a brand new Lucerne CX. It's a sort of silvery blue. I haven't ridden in or driven it yet, but a brief sit behind the wheel revealed a very nice sedan (and Buick) indeed. I look forward to examining it further in the near future.

wazzis sports car?
Hudson threw me until I looked at some reference. For #1 I was looking for 'Kellison', but indeed it is the Kellison Astra J-6. Here's a link to a bunch of pictures of the different models. Neat; I prefer the J-5 myself. Never seen one in person, tho I have seen an unfinished/unrestored LaDawri a few years ago. http://kellisonpage3.homestead.com/forsale.html Thanks for playing.

wazzis sports car?
Hudson correctly added #3 & #5, but #1 is still open. As rare as this car was, there was more than 1 generation of it. I can't say each gen had these features, but 2 notable features of at least 1 of them were mentioned above.

Cadillac Eyes Super Vs and Tuner Vs à la Saleen,
DTS is not the flagship in my eye, and I do not believe --at least in the current iteration-- that Cadillac intends it as such either. Besides- one of the hallmarks of the Vs is sub-5-sec acceleration- more of a challenge with the FWD DTS. These 'Super V / V+' models are nothing about sales numbers. Those should never be a focus- it's not why the models would exist. No way should brabus of dinan be chosen- they are already associated with m-b & bmw. "Muscle-car" my ass; go with what works. Lingenfelter bears a long hard look, IMO. Keep it an American tuner by all means.

Yeah- you're right! What does that owner's comment say about the strength of the Rising Sun Kool-Aid??

Spy Photos: 2008 Cadillac STS
Sorry- that's much more so DTS-inspired than ESC-inspired. I was expecting an 8-port grille like the '07 ESC- pics & text contradict each other. I also would infinately prefer a veiled LED taillight like the circa '00 Deville than clear lenses with bare strips of 40 bulbs. Other than that I like it!

Doesn't sound like a 'low $40K' car but more like a $14K car.

- GM First Produced Trucks In What Year?
GM bought the Rapid & Reliable independant manufacturers in 1908-1909- so this would be concurrent with the Buick truck (I have not been able to verify which make was bought which year- my sources disagree).- Our Well-Respected Members
Is the drive to 'go there' really always so overpowering?- Misc. GM Trivia
GM's 75-millionth car was a '62 Bonneville. The 50-mil was a '55 Chevy. Good times: 1st 25 million: 32 years 2nd 25 million: 14 years 3rd 25 million: 8 years 4th 25 million: 5 years- Hey Camino... I found you a

Would you call your crocodile a croc?- 1979 Buick Only 299 miles!
It depends. I bought my '64 GP in '86 with a '71 inspection sticker in the window. Yes- it sat (outside) for 15 years. Rebuilt the carb & resealed the gas tank & she ran like a bat out of hell.- My friend bought a new Toyota Camry
Yup- I did. Apologies.- 1979 Buick Only 299 miles!
It's not collectible, therefore would make a great brand new car for only $6800. Some rims (not too large) would do wonders for it- it's not bad looking at all, just Super Vanilla. - GM First Produced Trucks In What Year?
