The first release of the Vista is out. The second release will be white. Also, a variation of the green is allegedly showing up, more like the traditional Olds green of the early 70s.

Well, given that the company I work for subsidizes my payment as long as I keep a car less than 3 years old, thats a good incentive to do just that. If they will keep paying my payment, I will keep leasing and/or trading in as required. If they stop that, then I buy and keep a car. Or maybe the way things are going, I go buy an old hooptie.

Picked up this years Hallmark ornaments this weekend... The Classic American Cars Series was a T-bird. The All American Trucks Series was a yellow SSR. And... a no series ornament this year is the Corvette Stingray Concept (also known as Sideswipe). There is no Transformers tie-in with this, so this may be the first semi-realistic rendering of this car.

Well, after tooling about for a little over a year in the Buick, I see my GMAC coupons are telling me that I have 8 payments left..... So, considering that I have seen some rumblings about lease pull aheads, and assuming they will still be in effect in the next few months.... What ever shall I purchase this time?? My wish list before looking at the $$ deals, is a Camaro or pick up a G8 before they are gone. I wish the orange was still available on the G8. So, orange Camaro, with orange interior trim and black SS stripes, aqua blue Camaro with white SS stripes, stryker blue G8 or either car in the Sport Red tricoat. Thoughts? Other suggestions?

Well, the two JLs here were found at TRU. Toys R Us can always seem picked over just because of the mess the aisle always seems to be in. But, when they get stuff in they usually only put out a box at a time, so like these come in a series of 4 cars, and maybe they'll have 2 of each pegged. So, its never overflowing by any means, but if you keep your eyes open they are there. I hit Target and TRU mostly, with an occasional Wal Mart here and there, although they have been stocking HW like crazy lately. I dont normally like to buy at WM and wont buy music from them, but they do have the occasional series of die cast that you cant get anywhere else, so I cave and go for those. M2 is usually a Target thing, but I also have a local store that carries them now, so I go there now to make it easy. Greenlight is a Meijers find around here. And I have bought a couple things online, from 1Stop mostly. Hope that helps.... PS. worst case, let me know... I am happy to pick up an extra as I find them if its something you just gotta have.

Hey, I'm glad to see you guys still are interested in my die-cast posts..... I know I havent been around much, but life has been busy. I just ordered a HW El Camino (1980) to be delivered next month. BTW, the Monte has an orange color detailing the rear defrost grid.

I havent seen a good piece of info on the show yet, but so far I agree with GT5 and how about Rock Band - Van Halen?
