The new 280 bridge in Toledo, at dusk. Not a great picture, but shows the programmable lighting in the center. This one opened this summer. Then I was also in another city with lots of bridges (and tunnels) this week.
  5. OK, maybe more than a couple years (the mailing tube is postmarked June '97).
  6. Several years ago WAW had Larry Shinoda do sketches of a Cavalier (I think) with '55 Chevy styling. If I can find it, I will post pics.
  7. There is also a maroon GN.
  8. From the Kmart collectors event last weekend...
  9. For those who are curious as to what you may find inside the black blister-pack....
  10. The problem here is that you assume Batman is the first usage it was in. Besides, Batman was on TV, I dont think it was a movie back then. http://www.1966batmobile.com/background.htm I didnt know most of this either. But its cool info.
  11. Holy Concept Car, Batman! Lincoln Futura, aka the Batmobile.

Yeah, each one is built out of a bunch of overlapping hand drawn pieces to create the effect. I just exported as a .gif to post them here. They look better in Powerpoint. I had the urge to do the GP as I was doing some research on them, since I came across one to buy at a good price.

Being home from work today, I had a little time on my hands, so I made this PowerPoint graphic of the '86 Grand Prix 2+2. I will post a pic of the Z06 I did some time ago as well. Nice part about these being PPT graphics is that when you scale them, they stay looking good. Either I need to figure out how to make money doing silly stuff like this or find better things to do with my time.
  14. Dual Camaro set.... Also available in Challenger set (silver).
  15. Why would this make the news? There's no carnage.
  16. Some new stuff from this weekend.
  17. I too do this when I can. One time I did this, I went to a funeral for a friends grandparent. I knew the kids growing up and the father worked where I got a job, so I was close to the family just not that generation. At the funeral I found out my wife is actually related to the family. Small world.

That seems to be the norm at all dealers. You'd think they could get the books out before the cars, but they don't. A Dodge dealer told me to go use their web site.
  19. You mean this one.... I haven't found it yet either.
  20. The Cobalt is made in Lordstown, Oh, and yes, its still running.
  21. Here's a couple new ones. The yellow/black coupe Impala and a Regal that is pretty close to the one I had back 20 years ago.
  22. I got the others in this release, and they also have a slightly new packaging. Heres the other MC and Camaro (so much for more normal paint on the Monte) Also, heres a couple of the Challenger from this release.

Oh come on, Mom. You know I'm not like the other guys. I'm nervous and my socks are too loose.

You dont recognize the '51 Merc as the one from the Panama video? (Although the display says its from the California Girls video.) I guess I also forgot to mention that Cadzilla was also there, but they had someone sitting there to stop you from taking pics of it (same with Elvis's Pantera).
