I've always been drawn more to cars for the design aspect than anything else. I took art lessons for years when I was a kid, and I love learning about anything anything artistic like architecture, automotive design, and graphic design.

I voted for Buick, simply because it's the only one that has enough of its own identity to maybe have a chance to survive. Still, if I were betting, I'd go with a Chevy-Cadillac lineup.

I know a guy who didn't have a wedding ring when he proposed to his girlfriend, so he gave her WOW character a ring instead. He also upgraded WOW before he upgraded to a real ring.

You know what really goes against meritocracy? Telling our children that if they work hard to become the best and brightest that they should have an equal shot to great things, but then have an institution in place that places major restrictions on members of certain groups so that "meritocracy" is only a reality for a select few. Hell, even with affirmative action in place, white people (hey, that's me! ) are more likely to get top jobs or into colleges.

I have a Gen-2 purple Ramjet lying around somewhere that is in very good condition. The standard isn't very high, but Beast Wars probably had the best plot of the ones i remember seeing. I also thought the movie had the best robot design of any of the series, smoothly incorporating anime influences into the classic design. I just wish the movie's actual plot had followed suit. If you're going to make a movie about giant battling robots without being completely stupid, it's best to look to Japan for some inspiration.

How dare they make me skip a line while reading?! Seriously, Bob? Are you that afraid of change? Especially when it comes to ballots. We have enough people who screw them up when English is their native language; even if they have learned English, I'd rather native Spanish speakers vote on a ballot written in Spanish, just to avoid any possible confusion.

Gas could be $10/gallon, and it would be hard to get excited about a Prius.

Anyone who would buy a gas guzzler because gas prices have dropped for one month deserves what they get when prices rise again.
