GM was not offering any 0% durring october... except for the 06 tahoe suburban and avalanch... which have all been sold out for a year

i havent counted recently... but your talking 84 different models they are floating... i remember even in GM's hay day... never did they have all brands profiting all at once... just some months your going to lose here or there... some months your going to gain...

my general feel is that you can go into a dealership... and ask for sticker price - incentives... out the door... but thats here in LA with almost 11% for taxes and liscensing... but generally GM gives dealerships about 10%(profit margin) over invoice = msrp... so you should have a rule of thumb... a $22k cobalt will probably be a good deal around 19,800$ or so... just round to 20k... again if there are any incentives... this does not include those...

didnt get any pictures but i was cruising here in los angeles and i saw a camod silverado on the free way front and rear were covered up... and i dont think it was a heavy duty... just 1/2 ton... since they are already on the market why would they still be driving around with the camo?

if you read the FJ Cruiser article... it said last year it would have got truck of the year... but because it was delayed... it wasnt elegable... now... it says it doesnt win because there are newer better products out there

yea my old boss became a trucker in the army durring viatnam that way... started with a wheel barrel... then upgraded... and made a profession out of truck driving... now is a happy millionaire....

probably yearly budgets... they will probably do something but first year often times a few things are not forgoton but purposely removed to keep budget down...like one example of yearly budgets... one year of the previous gen impala... there was no rear seat child locks... which is sad cause previouus model was already best in class in most catagories...

dont know about the 6.2but the 6 speed is intended to be in the mix 2009 if not 2008

college costs are covered by my parents... i just have over 25k in loans already... and a morgage and retirement accounts set up giving me a really high fixed expenses...

i cant afford it... i've racked up enough dept so im forced to be making at least 2k and your average full time or overtime barely covers that... i love to learn... my parents are teachers... but i cant put in 40-50 hours a week and still goto college full time... there just isnt enough time in the day...

well... I've had this combing my brain now for about 4-5 months... and its really starting to cause a trouble... my trouble is... i am one of the smartest guys i know... i know more science, physics, math, automotive(not more then u guys but) then almost anyone i know my age or older... but i cant find a way to apply myself and get paid at the same time... and ive always admired people who accomplish some sort of armed training... but if im 21 now... and when i get through all that i'd be at least 25... and id still be in the same boat... what should i do... anyone have pros or cons for me to consider?

i hate to be one of those doom and glooms of wall street but... i dont think ford has a chance... Chrysler at least can be reworked... but ford is 5-8 years away from any kind of glory days... and i dont think lossing 5.8 billion a quarter is going to be productive enough to make 5 years...

not really... but GM if GM is really on a rebound it will always outperfom the market... but toyota really isnt up... look at most of the sales... they are almost all down compared with last year... only differences are a few new products and they are still using 0% on 06 models unlike GM...

its not about power... its about power & efficency... Dodge has the SRT8 or the SRT10 even... that outpower the vortecMax... the whats the fuel ecconomy? the chevy has 367 hp... and 15-19 fuel ecconomy... the 5.3 has 315 hp/338 tq with 16/22 (1 mpg worse then the 5cyl colorodo of 17/23) the 4.8 has 16/20 mpg at 290hp...

yea get the aura and the 08 malibu on the full scale... Once they blow out all the GMT800 trucks... and get with the GMT900... profits will be scarry... they raised the price and dropped all rebates... when the GMT900 SUV's hit the market they started hitting revenue records... and now the silverado and seirra are out...? GM's best selling vehicles are profitable again... and now they can focus for a year or two on cars... i predict GM will have 1 or 2 more quarters of minor losses... if GM sells 1 million silverados at 4000-5500 rebate.... then sells 1 million silverados at 0 rebate... thats 4+ billion...

i'm going to say... either something special would imply... the front starts to lift... from torque of a new gear... or it has some sort of adjustable spoiler similar to porsches... but i'm really assuming that yea it burns rubber as it shifts its gears... 2.5 0-60... thats pretty spectacular... but even the ZL1 camaro concept (770 hp)had a 2.9 0-60 times if i recall... but keep in mind... GM is the leader in traction technology... so i wouldnt put it past them to put it into motion... literally and figuratively of course... and who is to say... gm is going to sell a 650+ hp car on basic tires... im sure they wont be the cheapest thing on the car...

yea... i pulled that window sticker off of gmbuypower... it tells you the vehicles... the color engine... you can check every option... also... i was on GMC's website... and it gives info regaurding the 2500 & 3500... and it appears as if the 8.1 is not in production anymore... and it also appears the vortecMax outpowers the HD 6.0 in hp and torque...
